He always uses the title's topic as a jumping point to share trivia and stories about all sorts of other topics.
That's the show's format.

maybe because if the video was a direct answer to the question it'd be 15 seconds long and not interesting at all
well that was quite the philosophical episode
Fucker goes on a tangent in the first 30 seconds.
Is this how every vsauce video is gonna be now? :v:
He doesn't even address the question before going on a tangent. That's got to be a record.
Fucker goes on a tangent in the first 30 seconds.
to be fair he does reference the video's subject numerous times and relates them to the tangents he goes on about
The question is "Is all fair in love and war?"
Then he explains how war is invention of man and can be controlled and love is a condition in which it cannot be controlled. We legislate war, we don't legislate love.
Therefore anything is fair in love, but not everything is fair as we deem it in war.
He answered the question, you just got to think about how he went about answering it.
So would you not have any criticisms for Vscauce if he simply titled is projects differently?
Just because a title is a question doesn't mean the work is about answering the question specifically.
I always found the Geneva Conventions weird. "Yeah, kill those dudes but not like that". A least it's weird for the good, oddly "humanitarian" reasons. That Operation Popeye stuff makes me paranoid about chemtrails. I'm pretty sure they are real things now.

Artistic rendition of his videos' consistencies:

That was a great episode.
if you can't accept the shows format, it's just not for you
I seriously never knew about Operation Popeye... What an interesting method of war.
