I live in the only little blue island in southern Indiana. Go a few miles in any direction and you're back in the 1950s. Very poor, very racist, very shitty places to live. If it weren't for my little university town of less-shitty people, I'd have gotten the fuck out of here years ago.

Drive 20 minutes to Vincennes everyday and can confirm it's a shit hole. Glad to see this story getting more attention because it's pretty shitty and Indiana needs to get its head out of its ass.
