On Saturday, Clinton’s top aides decided not to release any statement in reaction to the shocking new video posted Friday night. And they discussed and ruled out putting Clinton out for any interviews to respond, a campaign official said. Many Democratic allies were urging Clinton to spend the 90 minutes during the town hall forum connecting with the undecided voters who will be posing the questions, rather than taking an ax to Trump. But the Clinton campaign official intimated that she plans to address the latest controversy head on, in prime time. The decision was made, the source said, after discussions about how to capitalize on what the campaign saw as fortuitous timing: an opportunity to deliver the first, raw, response from the Democratic nominee in front of one of the largest audiences Clinton will benefit from in the final 30 days of the election. Clinton’s army of surrogates were also urged to wait for the debate and follow Clinton’s lead, rather than pile on beforehand, the source said.
They don't really need to do anything, Trump is doing a great job losing the election by himself.
The next debate is gonna be a thing of beauty
Brünnhilde's nearly done with her vocal warmup. If you listen real carefully during this debate, you should hear the first strains of Ride of the Valkyries in that lovely soprano.
The coup de grace of Trump's campaign. I, for one, am excited for 16 straight years of a democratic president and am hopeful for a democratic Senate this season as well
I would take this info with a grain of salt. There were "insiders" who said Clinton wasn't going to go after Trump at all last debate, but the exact opposite happened. I'm not saying that she won't attack him this time, but I'm sticking with the "fool me once" doctrine personally. And I think that Clinton reaching out to undecideds might be a better strat for her anyway. Going for the killshot with the Trump tapes is a bigger risk IMO. It could pay off big league but it might fail.
What if Hilary just shows up via form of cardboard cut out and lets Trump do all the talking
Trump is reportedly doing debate prep this time
Get your Popcorn ready, lads.
What if Clinton has the 'worse' story and is going to announce it for the first time at the debate, Alicia Machado style Probably not though Right?
I didn't think this political cartoon would hit the nail on the head so perfectly. [img_thumb]http://65.media.tumblr.com/3e53d829d6fbc85e184e193904a14e02/tumblr_o2ifphrbQW1udefl6o1_1280.jpg[/img_thumb]
What if Clinton has the 'worse' story and is going to announce it for the first time at the debate, Alicia Machado style Probably not though Right?
Wouldn't be at the debate. She'll wait until just before election day, when his numbers have slightly recovered, and then deal the final blow.
The next debate has become the most important debate of this election. If Donald Trump doesn't act well enough, Mike Pence might drop his support for him. If he pulls it through, then he still has a chance, albeit even more slim than before.

Last debate, the idea was that if he 'acted presidential' he might come out as the winner. This time he's going to have to resurrect Jesus or something
I wonder how this is going to affect the next season of House of Cards. The republican nominee in that is a really intelligent, likeable person
I've never been so excited to watch a political debate my whole life :v:
I wonder how this is going to affect the next season of House of Cards. I think he's totally fake and manipulates people with this nice guy persona when in reality he's a psycho just like Underwood. The last season of HoC was shit so my hope is that they just skip the election and move straight into his 2nd term

I'm going to stop here because I don't want to derail this with a HoC discussion more than I already have
Hopefully Bill coached Hillary before tomorrow's debate, he's really good at this sort of town-hall debate.

God I love Trump. For comedic purposes only, but love is still love
The one thing Trump could do to win the debate would be to remind the audience that Clinton lacks stamina. To be president you need a lot a stamina, and she doesn't have the stamina. The stamina required to be president - because presidents need great stamina. Clinton doesn't have the stamina.
She could repeat this word by word since nothing looks like it changed in the last 20 years (from what I hear as an outsider).
We have the best words
She bigly needs some more stamina, indeed.
Trump needs to resurrect Hitler, Bin Laden, and probably conjure the devil and kill them all on stage while kissing babies, women's feet, and Jesus himself to get to Monday without a -20 point margin. If I am the GOP. I would seriously consider running Pence or some one else as an Independent for Nov. If they pour enough money into it... it could happen.
Trump is reportedly doing debate prep this time
There's not enough debate prep that can wash away an audio tape of him practically saying "Fuck her right in the pussy"
She bigly needs some more stamina, indeed.
It's gonna be tough for her if her stamina gives out, to be semi-exact.
