I'd personally prefer an HD remake and expansion of the first one, since the GC version has aged very well, while the original could see some improvements.
Also, the first one had some pretty cool artwork for the box/manual/title screen. It would be amazing if they tried to recreate that style for an HD remake, instead of just reusing the TTYD/SPM graphics another time.
