In this video, well, I'll put his own description here; I can't do this justice myself.
All the religions on Earth could be 100% wrong and there could still be a Purpose, a Reason, a Creator (or, perhaps more likely, creators). As an atheist I doubt it, but I don't object to THAT belief. We'll never learn how to solve the problem of "too many apes and not enough bananas" while God commands us to breed. We can't even address a problem until we see it. In that regard the Abrahamic religions, in particular, are like a "whispering blindfold". The beautiful words in the Bible, Torah, and the Qur'an do NOT excuse the revolting words and horrific ideas that remain. The fact that you have to threaten some people with eternal torture to make them believe it (or say they believe it) should tell you all you need to know.
That was beautiful. And poetic. And truthful. But the truth didn't make it any less poetic.
Does the person who makes the video also make the speech? Or is this just some speech that someone made up some video for? Just curious Amazing either way

You have the work of a man who not only understands everything he's saying, but they are in fact, his own words. If you liked this video, check out his channel. This man's words quite literally changed my life. Want a hint? This time, last year, I was a christian.

I never went to church as a kid and never read the bible or other religious texts which I guess had a lot to do with it. I do remember in school kids asking my religion and I always just I assumed it was like your heritage, and you were what you're parents were. When I actually started thinking about it and learning about religion I started identifying myself as an atheist. My parents never seemed to care. I don't I've ever talked to them about religion. My little brother goes to a Catholic school (the public schools here went to shit), I recently talked to him about religion. I'll love him not matter what religion he is but I hope he turns to atheism. I'll talk to him again later when he finds out Santa / Easter Bunny / Tooth Fairy aren't real. Good for you though. The world needs more atheists.
