So I assume it's gonna be like what they did with FireRed and LeafGreen back in the day, an HD remake for the modern era.

ruby and sapphire were actually my favorite out of all the pokemon series, i grew up with my eyes glued to my SD screen i'm really glad they're bringing it back, but man, it makes me feel old

So honsetly, I don't think people mind putting more money into a series they love.
