I've decided to build a PC for myself, so that I don't have to share it with the family. I mow lawns, but getting $20-ish a week isn't going to cut it really. What I need is some ideas for a way to make money. It can be minimal, like a few more dollars a week, I just want to save up. I don't expect to make this money really fast, and honestly I just need to contribute to what I'm earning in order to make enough by the end of December for my build. I'm fourteen and can't get a job, because school is more important, the economy is bad, and my parents won't let me. I just need some way to add a bit more money to my current earnings. Any suggestions?

Yes, I know, I just am curious as to how I can add to my income. I know it'll require work, I don't expect this to be easy.
Well do you get money for birthdays and/or Christmas? Or any other holidays you celebrate?
I usually do, and if you do too I suggest trying to save that money up, because there's hardly much else you can do about getting money.

I do. My birthday is right after Christmas. I generally don't get very much though. I admit I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to Christmas presents. I may ask for the GPU and CPU for Christmas.

when i was 14 i volunteered at the school canteen, this not only got me loads of free food, but i was offered a weekend job serving chinese school kids, for $10 an hour, this lead to a job at target.
just ask around..

I have, parents won't let me either way, and honestly I'd rather focus on schoolwork. Also, I'm not mowing my OWN lawn, I'm mowing two other people's lawns for $20. It's not like I'm mowing my own. However, I will take a look around. I'm not lazy, as I said, I want to work, I just can't get a regular job. I said I wanted to work for it, please read next time before accusing me of something that I obviously am not.
