Rockstar Games says it's finally bringing the highly anticipated online heists to Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode, Grand Theft Auto Online, in an upcoming update that will hit all four consoles.
The addition of online heists is promised in an update for GTA Online scheduled to arrive after the re-release of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those versions are coming on Nov. 18. Rockstar doesn't precisely say when the online heists update is coming to GTA 5, but promises to provide details "very soon."
Rockstar originally planned to release the online version of GTA 5's heists earlier this year, but said it needed more time to develop the feature.
Heists was a big reason for me to buy GTAV, Multiplayer without it is fine, but it's not Heists. The heists in the SP campaign got me so excited for a multiplayer version of it that I was terribly let down to see it not be released within even a year of it dropping.
I kept waiting for the heists mode to drop, once I heard of the rereleases for the new consoles and PC, I was sure heists would follow closely. I have a sneaking feeling that there's an issue with the old consoles causing some problem with releasing Heists, I wonder if the last gen release of it will be a little or maybe very gimped in functionality.
Wow, is it spring time 2014 already?

Eh, they're only about seven months late...
Guarantee they're probably going to be grindy as fuck.
Watch, you'll start up Heists and it'll just be Payday 2.
payday 2, except the stealth mechanic is comprised of abusing euphoria physics blending to stumble your way past all of the guards and to the objective before falling over

Besides the flailing, is it truly that different?:quagmire:
Watch as you just start up heists right? Like, go to GTA Online, you haven't even touched it for almost a year now and you're so fucking excited. You go in, set up your crew, get everyone in the party for communication. Everything is going great. You've just finished customizing your character and you guys have planned out the entire thing. Literally every detail. You click "setup heist" and the loading screen comes up. Sixteen minutes and twenty-three seconds later a notification pops up. You press A/X without reading it. It doesn't go away. You read the notification out loud over the party chat, "Please insert a copy of PAYDAY 2 into the disk drive and then press A/X".
Man I haven't touched online since a couple months after the launch of it. I've been waiting for this to launch, but I feel like since it's been such a long time it'll be a hassle getting back into it being at such a low level playing with other high level people.
Rockstar: *ZIP* "Oh my, there sure is a lot of suspiciously yellow rain falling on your head today! Hoo-wee!"
I sold my copy of GTAV after I finished the singleplayer, which was in a week, cause I figured I wasnèt gonna touch the MP. I feel regretful.
Might get the PS4 version just to have a game.
I've lost all hype, but hey, maybe its enough to play this game again
i hope it has thermal drills
Everyone has tons of millions in cash anyway.

What's your point? More stuff to do is always nice regardless of whether you have millions or not.
I traded my copy of GTA:V in at Target when they were running that extra credit promotion, got $45 for it.
Since then, I've really wanted to play GTA:V. So I'll probably pick up a copy on the 18th.
I was told by George R.R. Martin that the Heists are defiantly coming

They are coming but they don't want to?
God GTAO is such wasted potential, everything feels sluggish and slow to join, or missing really obvious features. It should not take three or four menus to join a fucking deathmatch game, or any mission for that matter.

i enjoyed GTA:O. it was easy to access and get to diff menus
How many times did we hear info is "coming soon"? Fucking who's surprised that theists weren't released until nextgen. What a half assed attempt at stalling a year

You can do almost anything from the phone
too bad i got horribly bored of the grinding you always have to do, the no-fun-allowed mentality they put into it and not being really fun to play at all, and taking a fucking year to put in a feature they said they would put in from the very beginning
GTAO could have been so much better

That's right but unless heists give more than money, a big part of why do them is nullified. At this point it's just rich dudes robbing rich npc banks for thrills.
My point is, we need rewards besides money.
I really enjoy GTA Online. Any time I'm bored it's fun to get on for a bit and fuck with people or just play a few missions. Heists are definitely a welcome addition.
Oh boy
I've heard this song before.
GTA:O was a huge disaster imo
I was hyped for launch day, when it came out onto the xbox all I remember was it being so fucking slow and boring
I can see what Rockstar wanted, they wanted to have a different story for MP players to experience but honestly the mentality of the general MP player is not to do fucking stories but to fuck around in. It wouldn't let me do anything until I complete a mission or something
Even after launch it was still slow, literally a complete "no fun allowed" policy was integrated within this part of the game which had so much potential to be a complete screw around soon became a complete grindfest so you could buy a fucking apartment
I couldn't care about GTA:O anymore, it might be good on next-gen but on x360 and PS3, it's horseshit
Who cares until the pc version is out it's pointless information.

Killing players: just fine
Destroying a players car: Fuck you faggot pay $18000
Didn't someone glitch insure a plane that was like $300000 if you destroyed it?
