PHOENIX - Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton. The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane. The private meeting comes as Lynch's office is in charge of the ongoing investigation and potential charges involving Clinton's email server. Lynch said the private meeting on the tarmac did not involve these topics. "Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," said Lynch Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Phoenix Police Department.
ABC News Nice to see that the Secretary of State and the person managing her investigation are such great friends! I bet it must've been such a thrilling conversation about golf and grandchildren.
"Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," said Lynch Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Phoenix Police Department.
I can see that happening. Bill probably said: "You have really sweet grandchildren. It would be a shame if something happened to them." [editline]30th June 2016[/editline] How any American can defend these crooks is beyond belief.

Googling primarily turned up some clickbait and 9/11 truther type sites, so I'm taking this with a big pinch of salt.
I can't wait until trump wins so you'll all quit deluding yourselves into thinking it's okay to vote for a corporate jizzrag.
I can't wait until trump wins so you'll all quit deluding yourselves into thinking it's okay to vote for a corporate jizzrag.
in an ideal world, neither Shillary nor Trump should've ever been seriously considered for primaries, never mind the actual presidential election. The good news is that Trump keeps messing up, has no more money to fund his campaign, and everybody can see for themselves how big a fool he is. I want neither a corporate shill nor a climate change denier who throws childish tantrums anytime somebody closely questions him on his policies and statements to become President of one of the most powerful countries of the world. Failing all else, if I had no other choice I would vote Shillary because it's just going to be more of the same rather than whatever disaster Trump would see fit to inflict on the poor people of the USA.

As bad as Hillary is she will uphold Dodd-Frank, support net neutrality, keep pushing on social issues, won't antagonize minorities and immigrants, believes in Climate Change, nominate liberal supreme court justices that could potentially help to get money out of politics among other issues, etc. Trump is just another right winger except completely incompetent, narcissistic, and authoritarian. And to pretend like he isn't himself a liar and corrupt is being naive. You can't trust either, but I'll take the status quo.
nominate liberal supreme court justices that could potentially help to get money out of politics among other issues
I won't bother with the rest for now-- but can you really say Clinton is trying to make for less corrupt politics when things like what's detailed in the OP happen?
Politifact is incredibly biased against Trump to make it seem like he lies most of the time and oh my god I can't believe you're seriously using a John Oliver as video as argument.

Trump claims MSNBC edited their released version of his interview with Chris Matthews in which Trump stumbled on abortion: “You really ought to hear the whole thing. I mean, this is a long convoluted question. This was a long discussion, and they just cut it out. And, frankly, it was extremely — it was really convoluted.” Nope; that was a lie. Trump lies that Wisconsin’s effective unemployment rate is 20%, saying, ""What? Is it 20 percent? Effective or regular? I mean just -- effective unemployment rate, 20 percent. Hey, this is out of the big book." According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, The U-3 official unemployment rate in Wisconsin was 4.6 percent in 2015; Wisconsin’s U-6 rate for 2015 was 8.3 percent. Trump said the 2016 federal omnibus spending bill "funds illegal immigrants coming in and through your border, right through Phoenix." Nope. The omnibus bill does not fund undocumented immigrants "coming in and through" the border; it funds the very agency tasked with keeping undocumented immigrants out, U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Trump brags that the Trump winery is the “largest winery on the East Coast.” "That’s not correct," said Michael Kaiser, spokesman for the National Association of American Wineries. Wine industry analysts calculate a winery’s size by the volume of wine produced. Trump Winery is not even the largest in Virginia. The top producers in the state are the Williamsburg Winery and Chateau Morrisette in Floyd County. In terms of sheer size in acreage, both the Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery in the Finger Lakes region of New York and Pindar Vineyards on New York’s Long Island are larger.
There are just a handful of the lies Donald Trump has uttered during his long string of campaigning against anybody who isn't his vote bank, to wit, the blue collar workers who have the same mindset that he looks for in his supporters. The reason his campaign blew up the way it did is because of all the media attention he got and how he spun any legitimate criticism into a direct attack on himself, his image, and his supporters. I'll be the first to agree that both anti and pro-Trump supporters are at fault, and have both done stupid things over the course of the primaries. I'll also agree that people are free to believe in whatever they want to. However, when confronted with verifiable fact that this man is bad for the well being of the country, has deliberately been inflammatory, and is hilariously uninformed to boot (who the hell denies that climate change is a problem in this day and age???), it should be a given to understand that no matter your leanings, he is only going to cause problems if elected as president of the USA.

Orgornot might disagree, I'm not sure. I'm just personally of the belief that Clinton is infinitely more corrupt and has no good intentions whatsoever.
how he spun any legitimate criticism into a direct attack on himself, his image, his supporters
Which is, to be fair, exactly what Clinton is doing on the other side. Between her trying to paint Sanders supporters as obnoxious sexists or her slamming Trump's border policies as racist in order to make his policies seem like an attack on her supporters rather than illegal immigrants. Clinton has used the "they hate us because we're x!" tactic on both Sanders and Trump, simply because they oppose her.
There are just a handful of the lies Donald Trump has uttered
"He's lied!" would be a far more respectable argument if it didn't work with both candidates to a near infinite extent. If Sanders had won the nomination rather than Clinton, his honesty and/or factual correctness would be a fairly significant factor regarding my vote. Unfortunately, that's not the case, and it'd be simply incorrect to argue that Trump (or Clinton!) are devoid of lies. My only comment regarding this is that at least most of what people point out to be Trump's "lies" can be seen as half-truths, or-- at the very least, occasionally/potentially indeliberate. Clinton has kept lies for long periods of time and rarely admits to, or apologizes for them. This is in comparison to Clinton, who has very deliberately lied about:
During the 2008 campaign, Clinton said she came under sniper fire in Bosnia during the ’90s. She went so far as to claim her group ran “with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” Video of her actual arrival surfaced showing a very calm scene instead, and the Democrat would quickly say she simply misspoke.

In an interview, Clinton stated that she “came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.”

Former Secretary of State Clinton claimed her infamous private e-mail server was set up in “accordance with the rules and the regulations in effect.” A federal judge disagreed, saying Clinton “violated government policy” when she used a private server to store official State Department messages.

When discussing immigrant stories, Clinton asserted that “all my grandparents… came over here.” However, only one of her grandparents was an immigrant.

During the 2008 election, Clinton tried to push candidate Barack Obama as a pro-war candidate, stating that Obama "basically threatened to bomb Pakistan."
There are plenty of reasonable avenues to take against a Trump presidency, but it's indisputable that Clinton is far more of a liar and an undoubtedly deliberate one when we add up the dice. Clinton has shown to be a natural liar, as well as having been involved in mathematically likely rigged votes against Sanders, and of course, has now been seen involved in incredibly suspicous activity.
Ah, but the whole point I was making, even viewing my very first post in this thread, is that anyone who claims that Trump doesn't lie is misinformed or an idiot. I hereby rest my case. Thanks for the help, Monkah. I mean that sincerely. Of course Hillary lies. I've been saying time and time again - and check my post history if you don't believe me - that they're both absolutely shitty choices and that I don't envy Americans this election. What I've also said is that Trump's dangerous, unstable, immature, and quite obviously the wrong choice if one was forced to choose between two evils. If you disagree, that's fine, that's an opinion I can respect. In fact, I admit that I was wrong in lumping you in with orgornot, who has completely lost touch with reality. I'm going to edit my offending post now to reflect that, and let the version you quoted stand as proof of my mistake. I will not stand by, however, and let /pol/tards like Orgornot claim that Trump doesn't lie, is not corrupt, or somehow has more integrity than his opponent. Misinformation, and deliberate misinformation to boot, I cannot abide.

So time after time we get articles about the crooked things Hillary has done. The e-mails, Libya, Benghazi, Bosnia, many other things. It's important to shed light on these issues to make sure the public makes an informed decision.
