Only christian rock I've ever heard is Skillet. Just listening to one song I can tell that facepunch probably hates them.

Basically all my favourite Metalcore bands are Christian or have religion inspired lyrics. Killswitch Engage, Demon Hunter, Times of Grace and more I can't remember at the moment. I am actually a Christian. So I actually do have some Worship songs here. I think I like this song the most because it reminds me of this awesome youth group I go to with a bunch of great friends. I wont go into detail because I wouldn't be able to do justice to its description. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdjRmM0Q0qs[/media] A little more hip-hoppy but this song is actually what pretty much inspired me to search for who I really was and become a better person. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlaKYbG5Bq0[/media] It was inspirational when I listened to it. I didn't recognize much Christian meaning behind it until a while later. I feel sort of weird posting things so personal on Facepunch. I don't act how I should be acting on here. Peer pressure to act like everybody else maybe.

I like quite a bit of Christian music, because I am Christian, but at the same time I dislike a lot of it. I just don't like it when an entire album is just "God is great". I like variety, maybe have some songs with a political or emotional statement.

Gospel is basically the root of soul. It puts you into that weird spirit and makes you groove in a certain unexplainable way.

There is some pretty bad Christian music out there I'll admit. I was put off of it for years because I just heard the bad ones. But I came to like the style like Tenth Avenue North has. It feels... real. I don't know how to explain it. The guitar or something.
