http://www.wimp.com/underwaterjumping/ It's a truly an amazing video, but I don't know if it's fake or late. I just find it cool to watch.
I'm just wondering how he gets air. They probably clip that part out.

Aqua-man?
I'd find that scarier than actual base jumping

Thats some crazy shit.
It's fake He's wearing a wetsuit, and no weightbelt...Just one lead weight. That's almost the same as just being in shorts... That single weight is definitely fighting the wetsuit to float... and he's just standing there under water... You wouldn't be able to do that, a full body wet suit is almost the same as a life jacket
Then his dismembered body floats back up to the surface because a shark got him. [editline]12:18PM[/editline] Of course it's fake anyway, he held his breath extremely long.
I'd find that scarier than actual base jumping
I'd rather not dive deep into a pitch black void
That was epic. I love Wimp.
Professional divers can hold their breath for minutes at a time. Although him sinking like that without apparently having weights is dubious to say the least.
He would need a lot more weight to have him sink like that if he was holding his breath.
questionable video is questionable.
I don't think I'd be okay with diving into a black pit.
Very cool though
Very cool though
I disagree
Anyone know the name of that song? It was p. good.
The water pressure down there would be intense.
Fake or not, that was one of the coolest damn things I've seen.
If I remember right, pro divers and easily hold their breath for way over 4min.
Fuck, I can't even do a min and a half. I'd crap in my wetsuit if I were falling that fast. Nevermind, I can hardly do a minute.
If I remember right, pro divers and easily hold their breath for way over 4min.
Thought you could only go for 3 minutes without air before you passed out
He would be hurting way to much from the pressure, 10 metres hurts a ton on your ears, so I can't imagine this.
Going down that far that fast in the water would surely kill anyone without the proper equipment, the pressure would be so immense your internals could be crushed.
I'd shit my pants standing next to that hole [editline]09:18PM[/editline]
He would be hurting way to much from the pressure, 10 metres hurts a ton on your ears, so I can't imagine this.
Seriously? You swallow every 4 meters so the pressure in your ears adjust... I thought everyone knew this...
I bet his name is Guybrush Threepwood...
I'm surprised nobody has heard of this type of diving. The guy has a buddy with him that supplies him with oxygen. He breathes out, takes the extra mask his buddy has on him, breathes in, and is good to go for another few minutes. He doesn't actually hold his breath that long. Also, how do you know he isn't wearing a lead vest? It would explain how he falls so fast.
That is so cool but it is so creepy. The only real phobia I have is the dark and deep blue. That black pit is just a brick shitter.
I have a strong urge to do this. The only thing I would not want to do is not have an oxygen tank. I'd be so worried about running out of breath that I would simply not do it. Otherwise I would happily jump into a black hole (as long as somebody at least told me it was safe).
