Even in the bloopers the creatures and effects look convincing. 'oh look, this blooper has Chewbacca shaking his head in disappointment'.
Imagine this with the new 'star wars' movies. Just some dudes in empty rooms messing up their lines.

there's something really surreal about these. i don't know whether it has something to do with me having seen so few of the actors in any other films, or the costumes and real effects, or whether it's just because star wars is such an iconic thing that it's really strange to see it out of character
