The BBC is putting the finishing touches to a new talent show which will find a performer who can dance like Michael Jackson. One of the late singer's family members is expected to appear as a judge on the series which will be called Move Like Jacko, reports The Sun. The programme will feature a nationwide search for dancers who can perform Michael Jackson's signature moves including the moonwalk, however they will not be expected to sing like the star. A source told the paper: "People are so passionate about Michael it makes sense to build a talent show devoted to him and his incredible performances. "And given that his family played such a huge part in his life, it makes sense for one of them to be a judge. Jermaine, Janet or LaToya would be brilliant." A BBC spokesperson said in a statement: "We are currently in advanced discussions about commissioning a new entertainment show, which will seek to find Britain's most talented dancer, who can move like the legendary Michael Jackson." The programme is expected to be broadcast in 2010 so it will not be up against The X Factor in the ratings war.
Source: http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/235973/ If the contestants are that good at singing, what's the point? Just the BBC milking MJ's death IMO.
It'll probably be on BBC Nine or something.
I'd expect this from C4, but BBC ? For shame
he's fucking dead. get over it god damn.
Oh God....... :ughh: (<<<<weird ughh doesn't work anymore) Stupid BBC. Glad I live in America and I don't have to watch their stupid shit (well, not all of it is stupid shit, but it's not like there is no stupid shit on it).
Mmm Classy ...
UTV are shitting it after they just commissioned a 12 part Farah Faucett TV series.
I think we should go to his grave and jizz on the stone and then eat a biscuit
And now for the final round; Who can molest the most children?!
And now for the final round; Who can molest the most children?!
Oh I forgot how hilarious those jokes are!
:ughh:
people just love it when someone dies don't they?
God damnit not Michael Jackson again, i thought he was dead and never had to be mentioned again.
Can't blame the BBC for wanting to cash-in on these sorts of programs.
Ugh, not more stuff about MJ. He's an overrated freak.
Just the BBC milking MJ's death IMO.
Chances are they've had this in the pipes for months, probably to cash in on the tour and or the musical.
Christ, not another shitty BBC 'talent' show. I BET it'll be presented by Graham Norton too.

I'm glad I don't pay a TV license. First some of it goes to ITV, and now it's used to produce this shite? This isn't public service television. This is tripe.
Makes me glad that I'm not paying the TV licence, sucks to be my parents.
BBC sucks.
You people are stupid, MJ isn't dead
Michael Jackson got talent................... wait ooooooh that won't work will it.
No BBC, just no. Leave the shitty TV to ITV.
Surely they should call it Move Like Michael. Better than 'Move Like Jacko' which sounds a bit shit.
It's a great idea to rake in some nice cash considering how greatly Michael Jackson is ranked and all.
I don't like how they're profiting from MJ's death in the form of a game show, but they wouldn't be the first to do it.
The idea of finding the best dancer would stand on its own (especially with evidence of acts on shows like Britain's Got Talent), the Michael Jackson dimension is just extra sauce on the steak
