Spotify is amazing. Now I don't have to keep my 70 GB music collection around with me.
I love spotify but however I can't really see my paying for the premium service
I love spotify and I'm paying for it. Small price for endless music with no commercials.
Some people say that Spotify has a lot of artists removed, but I haven't had any problems with that so far. If they're not in spotify, I can just add them by using the local files function.
Spotify is definitely worth paying for. I use it all the time on my Iphone, both online and offline.
Gotta love Spotify. I have a free (not to be mistaken with open) account type that is 100% free without the shitty 20 hour limit that open accounts have (Though, I still pay for it when I have the extra dosh to spare). I doubt I'll be going back to paying for individual albums any time soon - for £10/month access to millions of songs in an instant is too good.
oh btw I have 14 spotify invites if someone's interested.
I've been a subscriber for 5 months or so and I love it, those 10 Euros a month is totally worth it.
I pay for Unlimited. Its cheaper then Premium. But since I dont have a android mobile, it would be useless for me to buy it.

do you still have ads?
I think I have the free one, cause I haven't reached any limits. But I don't listen to music 24/7 with spotify either.

Oh and I've gotten this bad habbit from Spotify before the next song is about to play. When the song is about to end (3 sec before) I play the next song on the list manually by double clicking on it. (maybe it was just pressing next on my keyboard, but I can't remember since it's been a while since I used spotify)
but if ads appear I just close spotify and open it again, which is faster than the whole ad itself

I shouldn't post this cause I don't know if this is completely unknown. I can imagine if the authors find out that there are ways to avoid ads they will make it so you have to listen to ads before playing songs and not after.
oh well, i don't use it anymore
Yeah. It's pretty much the exact same as the open account type minus the 20 hour/month limit.
You can find out what account type you have by the name of your window:

in an email to the Americans who have test accounts, Spotify writes that the launch will take place in "the coming months". For the launch however, they need agreements with all major record labels and so far only Sony has signed an agreement.
I pay for Spotify. It seems crazy to buy individual tracks now.
I might subscribe too, only for the offline ability. Means I dont have to download thousand songs for my android. Can just sync spotify with my phone instead :buddy:
Congrats, now would you kindly get your service out in Denmark (:
Spotify themselves are not making money right now with them paying astronomical amounts to be able to have that massive selection of music that they do. Hopefully the rise in paying subscribers will increase a lot faster. This information is sourced from music week not just pulling it out my ass. Also I pay for the premium of Spotify, well worth it!
It seems like only yesterday we were hatching ideas for a new music service in a tiny office-cum-apartment with a broken coffee machine.
Oh dear.
Nice having all my music whenever I login. Pay for Premium because I can't do without 320kbps. Sharing music is a nice feature with friends as well.
On topic, I pay for the Spotify service and I love it. They're lacking on the electronic side of music but everything else is there. It's an excellent service!
cool
That's great spotify, now fuck off with your 5-in-a-row's of the same damn ads :colbert:
Now get it available where I live!! :argh:

Beta accounts represent
Unlimited hours :smug:
It's not out in Germany :(
