Wasps are fucking cancer, but holy fuck did it look brutal
Why didn't the bee's launch a massive counter offensive instead of the pitiful defense they attempted? their numbers should have been able to overwhelm the Wasps.
Then again it must be like humans fighting against fucking tanks, poor bastards.
wasps are assholes
Why aren't the bees doing that thing where they swarm the wasps and literally cook them using their collective body heat?

Can't do that in the air and in wide open spaces where the wasps have room to move.

There's a type of bee which I cant remember but they would swarm around an attacking wasp and vibrate in unison until the wasp cooked from the heat generated.

yes

Epilepsy warning by the way.
Why aren't the bees doing that thing where they swarm the wasps and literally cook them using their collective body heat?
Because these are European Honey Bees and have no natural defense against the asian hornet.
You're probably thinking of its close relative, the Japanese Honey bee, which swarms and cooks the hornet scouts.
wow that was a really cool way to look at it
At the start you actually see the bees trying to drag their wounded further back into the hive, and the way the wasps murder the bee larva at the end goes to show how they're the nazis of nature.

1:50 is literally like a scene where the hero of the movie jumps on the big monsters back.
[editline]2nd June 2015[/editline]
This is fucking genocide oh god why is nature so brutal.
[editline]2nd June 2015[/editline]
HOLY FUCK they are literally killing the babies.
Nature's Alamo.
I never thought I'd feel so sad to see so many dead bees.

Only the Japanese variety cook them alive.
So basically we need to institute a training program to teach bees war.
So basically we need to institute a training program to teach bees war.
And then they revolt and take over the world :tinfoil:
Now I feel less bad for every wasp I've flattened.
Is there a known reason for why hornets try to eradicate bees or are the just dicks?
These are japanese waps though, they are like the biggest baddest mother fuckers. 30 waps from where I live couldn't pull this shit off.
This is like Marcus Fenix and a bunch of Cogs vs 30,000 smurfs.
So basically we need to institute a training program to teach bees war.
Yeah, but what about Osama Bee Laden
Is there a known reason for why hornets try to eradicate bees or are the just dicks?
Wasps don't really attack unless provoked, but when they do they are relentless.
I think wasps invade bee nests for the honey, but certain species would drink a bee's blood for sustenance.
European Honey Bee's vs Japanese Hornets.
Basically like a medieval knight in full armor against a bunch of unorganized peasants.

Hornets and Wasps both prey on other insects or in this case, bees. They really just want the larvae but they know that the bees will defend their hive, so they just kill em all
Here's the documentary with commentary:

I found a wasp nest on accident at my old house populated by the most docile passive wasps I've ever seen. I was gonna waste them but I decided not to since they were fully non-aggressive. It was bizarre.
I want more
this is narly
Whoever picked the music for this clip deserves a fucking raise, this is awesome.
Holy fuck, if you look at the bees in the front at 0:23 you can see one of them is dragging injured one away from the fight. Instant respect from me.

There was this Austrian dude who used to be really peaceful and was into art and all that so nobody wasted him.
Look how that turned out.
