Hello, everyone!
I'm new to this forum and I've been recommended to go here because it has a lot of readers.
I am a YouTuber who loves to make movies and put up on YouTube, but my channels is sadly relatively barren of viewers, so hopefully I can get some views and subscribers from this forum.
One step closer to being famous and making my dream a reality.
Here is the latest video which I made during New Year's Eve with my brother. It's a parody of all those Ghost Hunting shows, but semi-plausible and weird.

Also, I wonder what the policy on this forum is about video thread postings. Am I allowed to post a separate thread for every movie I make (and some of those I've made retrospective) or is that considered spam?
Or should I maybe make a new thread entirely dedicated to my channel(s) and then keep updating that single thread?

Signing up to advertise is against forum policy.
If you stay though I recommend just keeping it to one thread.
Seriously this is like the 5th account made to advertise in the past 2 weeks.

Isn't that what the entire internet movies section is all about? I've seen lots of people posting about their videos here?

They didn't sign up just to do so in most cases. Most people have either several months joined prior or have posts.

It's not like I've planned on spamming the forum with 40 new posts each day. I only post videos I've worked with and am 100% happy with, (not random 3 minute recorded vlogs and such) and I make those maybe 2-3 times a month, sometimes less.
And of course I didn't come here only to advertise my channel, even if it was the major reason. I also watch other people's threads as well. I just watched some video about "indoor fireworks" which was really nice. But YouTube/Videos is the big passion I have so of course I will be kind of limited to that section of the forum.
Also this forum seems to be about gaming a lot and I've done a fair share of gaming videos as well, mainly EverQuest II videos but other things too.
Some people make really good videos but it's impossible to find them on YouTube in the big mess of videos posted each day so filtering through a forum to find the good ones is usually much easier.

I said the video, not the advertising. Since this thread has 146 views and my video has gotten 2 views more since posting this, that basically only means that 2 people can give me an opinion about the video and 144 can't since they didn't even watch it.
The funny thing is however, that when someone is linking their own videos, people automatically think they're gonna be horrible and don't watch them, but if someone else is linking the exact same video, people watch it. I know that because I made a "What if Super Mario Bros Had Achievements" video a while ago and my cousin linked it on this forum without my knowledge (that's how I found out about this forum), and suddenly that video in a week or so had over 1000 views... :P
And it's not like I sound like Stanley in Monkey Island either, lol.
People did watch your vid. Embedded videos do not increase view count. You joined and stated you joined to post your videos on this forums "Because of the large amount of readers" If that isn't advertisement I don't know what is.

Hahaha. Yeah, I recorded it right after we shot the rockets here... My hair does get awfully greasy very fast O_o
It's like magic. Evil magic, but still magic. I am thinking about shaving it again but not sure. Might re-colour it too and add some red to it. But I didn't come here to make a hair blog. There are waaaay to many of those around anyway, lol.
