Train Collision in Missouri takes down Highway Overpass

Scary thing is that I've been over that overpass several times and I'm quite familiar with that area. Hell I know that highway as the "trainway" because of the railroad.

One train rear ended another and then pushed the cars off the track hitting the pillars of the overpass causing it to collapse, that's what I've been hearing so aka somebody in Railway traffic control fucked up badly either that or the signals were fucked up.

Some Chinese infrastructure is crap from the get-go, depending on how corrupt the local officials or construction companies are. You've got the Three Gorges Dam on the one hand, and bridges made of nothing more than garbage and a light façade of concrete on the other.

Like higher than India, and over twice that of China.

This really shouldn't ever happen. There are sensors that indicate if the upcoming segment of track is occupied by another train and are indicated on light signals near the beginning of each segment (or something like that).

Something (or someone) fucked up somewhere.
