I was expecting something less obvious, oh wow.
Well that wasn't forced at all.
Oh god why do TV shows reference games for absolutely no reason whatsoever
At least it wasn't the millionth cake joke
Two of my favorite things in one.

Bad writers think it's a good idea and will distract the viewer from their bad writing.
lowering into a well = playing portal
logic has been broken
its a video game

seriously?
or maybe it's because video games are insanely popular now and maybe, just maybe, the character happens to be a nerdy korean guy who delivered pizzas and played video games before the zombie apocalypse?
ridiculous

Free publicity for Valve(?)
That episode pissed me off. Not because of the reference btw.
Why did they turn this show into so much drama and moral fag issues.
Wouldn't it have been a bit better if it was Left 4 Dead reference? Portal came in from way left field there.
I watched this episode in russian today.
"I thought I was playing a videogame... it's a videogame."
"Oh a videogame, I see."

Zombies were never thought of in that universe, that's why they call them walking dead, not zombies
I've concluded that Dale puts on his robe and wizard hat when he's alone in the camper.
ehehehe i love these ad moments in movies/TV especially when its so forced sounding its not funny.
Herp-derp, that was unnecessary
It was forced but Glenn is still an awesome character
seriously, Glenn is my favorite.
Wow what a forced plug. I've seen worse though. When the PSP or some other handheld device came out, in one show they dedicated like 1 full minute talking about it's features and everything
IT'S JUST LIKE I WAS PLAYING THE VIDEO GAME PORTAL™ ON THE MICROSOFT® XBOX 360™ VIDEO GAME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM CONSOLE.
OH NO A HARMLESS JOKE THAT LASTED A FEW SECONDS AND INVOLVED A GAME FROM OUR BELOVED COMPANY BURN THE DIRECTOR AT THE STAKE
nevermind the fact it's going to give Valve more attention, and they didn't do a "CAKE IS A LIE LOL" joke.

no-one has said that.
worst we have said is that it was kinda forced.
lets not over exaggerate.
I dont really see what he was saying related to portal
.

Another zombie slasher action show/movie would be boring
I like that this shows an interpretation of how lives would be affected in this situation
A better valve reference would have been Glenn comparing the zombies to the L4D infected
And i can't think of a reference for portal that wouldn't seem forced
