It's really cool to see elders play video games and take it seriously (and enjoy it)
a grandma that enjoys killing and looting [t]https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2738/4168704132_7a1f7c0676.jpg[/t] [sp](not her but it looks close)[/sp] [editline]20th September 2015[/editline] "17,064 subscribers" holy shit
Part of me wants to see her playing Killingfloor 2. [editline]20th September 2015[/editline] 'Oh well gosh, his nipples look pierced. He must be into very strange things. Reminds me of my grandson."
Now at over 18k an hour later, geez
I subbed too - Watching her take a moment to just look at the virtual world she was in kinda reminded me of how it was like for me and the depressing realization of how jaded I have become with games. It's all about mechanics and leaderboards and combo kills and shit now, not really noticing the amount of effort that goes into the art or the virtual worlds that are being meticulously crafted that tell stories. It's hilarious thinking about it, but seeing it through her 79 year old eyes with such wonder makes me feel young again.
I love how loot obsessed she is.
when i first played fpses i had to get used to the motion sickness wonder how long it took her to get used to that and moving while looking around at the same time, since from what i've seen most people who don't play video games have trouble with that

there's something oddly cool about this. It's not your standard affair "Watch silly old people not be in the loop of technology!" video. Just a 79 y/o legit playing Skyrim.
There's something uniquely interesting about elderly folks playing video games it's also nice to not hear someone swearing up and down the hall when their character takes damage.
It kinda makes you think. When most of us become old, most of us are probably going to end up like this. A whole generation of ageing hardcore/casual gamers. There's kind of a badass quality in that.
An elderly let's play could be an instant success. People eat that shit up. I want to see a WW2 veteran play Battlefield 4.
"Back in my day, we didn't have any fancy-shmancy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon - and we had to share the rock!"
i dunno man the first fps i played was half-life 2 which is apparently one of the worst games when it comes to motion sickness but i don't think i've ever had it
i dont think ive ever seen half life and motion sickness in the same sentence before. skyrim on the other hand, is terrible
I'd like to see her play through STALKER SoC, but you know, she's 79. X18 might not do her any good
"Back in my day, we didn't have any fancy-shmancy tanks. I hope I'm still rockin' vidya when I'm that old.
Her other video is so peaceful. I wanna go to Cedar Hill.
That was really nice, subscribed right away

I played CSGO with a streaming grandmother once, it didn't end up well.
Her description for people who didn't read it. Actually, I made this so I could subscribe to gamers I enjoyed watching play. I want to start a blog for older gamers, like myself, because I feel we are not represented enough on You Tube. I am a 79 year old grandmother, and just had a beast of a gaming computer built. I can now play like a Boss! LOL I comment a lot on my favorite gamers channels, but I would really like to connect with older gamers, so if you find me here please let me know. I'd really like to chat about games and gaming on my Discussion tab. Snapchat Shirley Curry Instagram/shirleycurry1 https://twitter.com/ShirleyScurry I'm shirls4s on Steam. Also GamerMom36 on Twitch.
Funny, I actually just built a new machine for a rather elderly lady; somewhere in her late 60s. 4690k 16GB Corsair 2400Ram Z97 Asus mobo GTX 970 Etc She wanted it specificity for playing skyrim on ultra with a ton of mods. Got a phone call a day later and I quote:"It's fucking brilliant".
I can now play like a Boss!
oh my goooooooooood instant subscribe
This is great but she should probably invest in a pop filter.
That was painful to watch. I mean yeah she's an elder but fuck she's so slow

I just realized that in the future, youtube will probably be filled up with old people doing lets plays Matt and Pat are already like fucking 30 years old, if the decide to keep going at it til the end of their days then we're gonna be in for a wild ride.
