It looks like Microsoft was also in the spirit last week as it united Microsoft Store employees to spread some holiday cheer through caroling.
I worked for Microsoft and I never got one of those beanies. :(

Oh no, human emotion. Apple's one weakness.
nice an ad

Wow, that busy New York City street had a really good sound stage for those professional choirs to sing in.
Microsoft stores are really sad. There's a microsoft store right across from an apple store at a mall near me and the apple store is fucking PACKED constantly while the microsoft store barely has anyone in it even though you could probably just leave your kids in there playing minecraft for hours because no other kids would walk in
If they'd done a choral rendition of the Win 95 startup theme to open it would have been amazing
might have been an ad but that was heartfelt and adorable regardless [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline]
If they'd done a choral rendition of the Win 95 startup theme to open it would have been amazing
What most people don't know (because MS cut it out of the ad) is that immediately after the singing was over, the Microsoft employees fought their way inside the Apple store, destroyed everything inside and executed most of the staff.
whats even sadder is that they're a carbon copy of applestores
What's even sadder is that Apple Stores are just an adoption of high-end clothing store retail methods applied to consumer electronics.
whats even sadder is that they're a carbon copy of applestores
Yeah it really is a damn shame. They have so many products but they just feel like a cheap clone of apple. They have Xbox and Windows which should make them popular among gamers but they're not. It's just a really sad store. I'm pretty sure they still have more than 90% market share but they're trying to play catch up for some reason

Apple Stores will always be popular with hipsters who have too much money and don't know shit about computers; average people are just gonna go down to Best Buy or Costco or some shit and buy a Dell or HP or something, and "techies" are going to order online usually.
Apple Stores will always be popular with hipsters who have too much money and don't know shit about computers.
have you not left your house since 2005?

I still have an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. Their portables are pretty fantastic, perhaps not because of the specs, but because of the build quality and attention to detail. All their screens are calibrated, color accurate, and fairly high-resolution. And they're solid things, which you can definitely find in higher-end Windows laptops, but very rarely in cheaper ones. They're just very nice machines to use, really. Not sure I'd do an iMac, because it doesn't fit what I use my desktop for, but I'll definitely keep buying MacBooks unless their quality plummets. I'm not sure about iOS portables, though, since they seem to be stagnating and the Surface looks pretty awesome.
have you not left your house since 2005?
I'm not saying Apple products aren't ever used by ""techies"", I'm just saying that those types of people are usually not who flood Apple stores on a daily basis :v:
its not hipsters or techies that buy apple products, it the majority of the general public at this point
Once again, I was talking specifically of only those who frequent Apple stores. It was purely on the point that Microsoft should not attempt to emulate Apple stores, because average joes and such who buy PCs (but not online) would just go to Best Buy or some similar super-store instead, rather than a Microsoft store in some mall.
