Thanks Sony, now hackers are going to steal my credit card information and buy a cow.

Well, think of it this way. You now own a cow.
Well, think of it this way. You now own a cow.
and ALL of this originated from you buying a Playstation 3! Aren't you just excited? :v:

It's like a gift from the heavens!
I'm also starting to get spam E-mail now. Won myself a Range Rover SUV and $450,000!
Well, that fucking blows.

It's like a "Free Stuff" thread. Including the infamous "not showing up" part! Except this time it required no work on your part at all!
The people (like me) who are at risk don't deserve it, but Sony deserves losing the scrap of reputation that they had left.
Thats cool, right as I try to remove my information from PSN it gets hacked.
The people (like me) who are at risk don't deserve it, but Sony deserves losing the scrap of reputation that they had left.
Why exactly?
Well that's fucked.
I guess I should be happy that I never bought anything on PSN.
Fucking ridiculous..
I bought stuff off PSN before but I always remove the credit card info when i'm done. So I'm not extremely worried about it for now.

How is it Sony's fault?
I am not a happy chappy.
How is it Sony's fault?
Because hackers are apparently the Che Guevara's of our time and Sony is the fascist dictatorship.
I don't have a Sony account. My brother does, and both of us had fraudulent charges come up this week. Our accounts are connected by a common account, and I believe that's how my information was also stolen. Many people, including those who are connected to those with a Sony account need to cancel their cards
welp
How is it Sony's fault?
ummm
their security system was hacked?
security systems shouldn't be easily accessed?
How is it Sony's fault?
Sony didn't encrypt user information at all. These aren't clever hackers that did it, just people using custom firmware that made their console connect to the developer network. Completely Sony's fault, they'll be sued
I have $81 worth of fraudulent charges on my credit card, just checked my bank website. I'm calling VISA now and maybe a lawyer later

In any case, I don't think I purchased anything over the PSN. I think. :ohdear:

I fucking won mine at a contest i never signed up for this.
Well fuck.
I don't remember if I saved credit card info on psn.
If I have, my family will blame me for all this shit.
If anyone was wondering, if you connected your PSN account to your Steam account, your Steam information is not at risk. Valve just confirmed that.
