A husband in Miami posted a chilling murder confession on his Facebook page Thursday, which was accompanied by a graphic and disturbing photo of his dead wife.
Derek Medina, 31, posted the photo on the social networking site at around noon on Thursday, along with the message “Rip Jennifer Alonso.” The photo, which TheBlaze has chosen not to publish, shows a woman, identified in the photo as Jennifer Alfonso, bent over backwards at the knees. Her left arm is covered in blood and blood also seems to be on her face.
Medina’s confession came minutes before the photo was posted. It read:
“I’m going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys take care Facebook people you will see me in the news” my wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope you understand me.”
Someone who was apparently beaten by their wife. Abuse can happen both ways.
If crimes of passion can be made by women, then why can't they be made by men?
Authorities also said there was a 10-year-old girl at the home, but she was unharmed.
Thank God for that. Although it must be horrible to know that you just lost your entire family, one to gunfire and another to prison.
[sp]First people were posting selfies before armed robberies. Now this.[/sp]
[sp]Another silly joke: maybe she was trying to punch those caterpillars off of his forehead[/sp]

I hope that doesn't count as meme reply
It does, I saw a guy get banned for it in another thread.
here is the picture btw (nsfw):

Alright, I'll just snip that then.
Thanks for telling me
Seems like he was mentally ill or some shit
If the abuse thing is true, it makes more sense that he was pushed over the edge and made a huge mistake in the heat of the moment and regretted immediately since he turned himself in the next day.
The weird thing is that he took a photo and posted it online

He does not sound/look like a stable man.
He claims he was threatened with a knife by his wife and generally abused by her.
I am not the one to take sides until more becomes clear about this statement.
I have seen this on 4chan before it went on the news, must have been some friend of him
His fb page was still up then and his wifes too, the last picture she posted was of she and him kissing eachother which wet my eyes a little.
He used to write selfhelp books and show them proudly on his youtube (mrderekmedina03 or mrmedina03 or something)

I agree abuse on both genders is bad but it doesn't justify murder then posting it on facebook

Well, yeah, that's generally a fair approach. But then again, he did post the picture of his murdered wife on Facebook for her friends and family to see, so maybe let's assume the dude's a few stones short of a quarry!
Did it get any likes?
I would probably assume it was some sick black humor joke on both their parts because of how surreal it would have to be.

A reply to the photo got 3 likes.
"that is my friend there"
I guess it is a bit awkward having people LIKE that sentence

i mean, i guess that i wouldn't be that surprised. if there's one thing people will be sure to do on fb it's liking something.
"GUYS THIS IS NOT A FUCKING JOKE SOMEONE IS IN MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW, AND I'M HIDING IN MY CLOSET!! SOMEONE PLEASE CALL THE POLICE FOR ME!!! I THINK I SAW A KNIFE ON HIM!!!!!!"

How can you be mad at him, those big eyebrows, I would be inclined to let him go.
Quality Katbug post.
So you're saying that men CAN'T be abused? This guy has (from what we can see) been beaten and threatened by his wife for a long time, including with a knife.
