How much would it even cost to go from NY to CA? that's a crazy amount of gas and expenses one would think.
I'd love to have an old Honda like that.

For a small car, it's roughly about $150 in gas per 1,000 miles. His trip is almost 3,000 miles. Then food and hotel just kinda depends i guess.
This can't be skrillex, I hear no ear-slaughtering screeching!
Man, I took a roadtrip with drunken moose from San Diego to Portland with stops in the Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park, Zion, and Yellowstone, and that cost like 700 bucks on my end. It's gonna be wicked expensive.
I've always wanted to do this, but poor as shit.
One day I'll do it.
Man I have always wanted to road trip across Europe and America, its so interesting seeing different environments every few hours of driving and being able to explore them.

It'd be around $500 in gas. I think if you took a one-way ticket you could fly to LA from NY for much cheaper. You'd miss all the great sites on the way though.
I barely made the drive from Florida to Illinois I could never do this

He'd also miss nevada and kansas too, which is a very good thing.

I want to go see the basins so bad

The Mojave, for the most part, is barren and absolutely the most boring thing you can imagine. Northern Arizona is probably a lot better.

you must understand
I am from the midwest
barren and dry is fucking awesome to me

Mojave does look fucking awesome at night though. Just make sure you bring a few gallons of water in the trunk while you drive through it.
There will be an updated version of the video later today hopefully with more footage and a proper ending of him arriving at California.

It's out by the Salt Flats, near the border of Utah and Nevada.
I also remember 1:52 from somewhere, I think it's on the way to Vegas.

Depends on the car. I drove from Victorville, CA to Connecticut in 4 days; gas only cost ~$350. If it wasn't for staying at hotels I probably could have made the drive for under $450 or so, depending on whether or not I could sleep in the car at a rest stop :v:
Jeeze, when you go on a road trip to California you gotta use this song:

Did they start from the Carousel Center? If so thats in Syracuse, not Albany.
Still cool though!

No, they just stopped there to grab a charger, they were driving a bit prior to that.
I would love to do a road trip through America, what are the speed limits like most of the time? 70MPH? I hate being on big open roads and then being made to go painfully slow.
My parents did this about 20 years ago. They apparently took about 7 days because my mom got sick partway through and they made a ton of stops to see the sights.

Oh, gotcha. Why were they going to Cali?
