Not sure what you didn't understand about his post. The San Diego studio doesn't develop the GTA games. The San Diego studio mainly worked on the Midnight Club games and is presently working on Red Dead Redemption.

Rockstar North (based in Edinburgh, Scotland) is the Rockstar studio that develops the GTA games.

Not when employees were (supposedly) given a hard time even over doctor's appointments and other non-work obligations that they needed minor amounts of time off for. Do you really think they would be freely given the choice to work overtime or not?

I'm under the belief, that if these claims are true, overtime would be mandatory otherwise they run the risk of losing their jobs. Scare tactic type crap, you know?
