I never cease to be impressed by what 4A can achieve.
I never cease to be impressed by what 4A can achieve.
and the great thing is that they've listened to complaints from the hardcore fanbase like the inability to check your watch manually and the game being too actiony despite the overall stellar reviews by a good majority of players.
did 2033 really look that bad compared to the redux version? I haven't played it since release so my memory isn't exactly the best, but I'm sure it looked better than that?
HD also means HD Librarians. Oh fuck...
HD also means HD Librarians. Oh fuck...
Save some throwing knives for that part and suddenly the librarians are wimps. They die before they can even reach you and you can pick all the knives up again = 0 ammo used.

I'm still dying to know if they changed that awful amoeba section in Metro 2033. Hands down the worst part of the game.

Glad I preordered. I hope the new gameplay content will make it worth it. The graphical upgrade and gameplay modes, I take for granted, considering I'm re-buying a game I already own so the extended levels and campaign is what I'm really in for. I also hope, they improved ranger mode. I really hated how you can't access your ammo inventory, it made resource management neigh impossible. You never knew what weapon you were about to run out of ammo for and what you were all stocked up on. Considering that this mode was a lot more challenging and saving ammo or cleverly switching weapons to adapt to a shortness of resources were important elements, this issue really broke the ranger mode for me.
I'm just hoping the stealth in 2033 won't be easy as shit like in LL and that the ranger mode won't be half assed with the HUD. I remember in LL when you went to change grenades no menu would pop up and had to guess what you were choosing based on the sounds and there's probably other shit I forgot to mention with ranger mode.
One thing I've noticed in 2033 and last light. When you change filters on your mask you never remove the old one. I like to think he simply places another one on top of the old one and they stack. So you have like 5 filters stuck to your mask. Plus it didn't show up quick time event prompts so you had to guess which key to mash when being attacked.

Which is funny because in 2033 it was a free update and in LL it's paid DLC :v:
god dam it I want a third game.

Whenever it came to QTE's I just would spam E or M1.. Sometimes both at the same time, hoping it'd start doing something. There's been times where I died because I had no clue it wanted me to perform an action with a specific button. Hope they fixed that. Definitely going to try the Survival mode when I get my hands on it.
Wow, the Tomb Raider and Last of Us HD remake looks so pale in comparison to this.
Those that didn't buy either and bought this version must have felt like they had earned it. Its a bargain for them.
Fuck off TLOU. This is remastered done right.
They're making a third metro game.
Metro 2034 assumingly?
i love you 4a
I hope some of the optimization issues in 2033 are fixed. I have specs comparable to a PS4 or Xbone, but I can't run it in DX11 without horrible framerate drops whenever something happens.
Metro 2034 assumingly?
Metro LL's story is being adapted into a book named Metro 2035 so probably not.
Will Artyom still have different VAs for both games or will 2033 have the LL's VA?
They're making a third metro game.
any info on it.? if LL was 2035 would this be 2036.? and I hope it's a sequel not a prequel.
Fuck off TLOU. This is remastered done right.
That game is so overrated.
Fuck off TLOU. This is remastered done right.
The Last of Us remastered looks infinitely better than the PS3 version, includes all the multiplayer+single player DLC, has some new features and it runs great. Metro Redux does the same. What's up with the hate circlejerk over TLOU lately?
Instead of just pasting some new textures and upscaling the resolution they actually went through both games and tried to improve it based on feedback and managed to make both games more refreshing to make it worth a second walkthrough.
Can't you stare them down?
I thought the black librarians were supposed to be insanely aggressive and would attack you even if you did stare them down. Everytime I played the black librarians would instantly attack me even if I was staring at them (the other librarians did not but they would move closer to me and if they got close enough they would switch to aggressive).
i played it safe and just introduced their face to my shotgun
