Thinking about doing one of these once a week, what do you think? Also coming out of my shell a bit. Thanks for all of the advise. :zoid:
worst vid
worst vid
Oops
Doesn't really seem like a review, just more of a discussion about it... I don't even think its out yet? Anyways, just keep going and try different stuff and the videos will get better, I would also recommend a different mic.
constructive version: you speak a tad too fast, just enough for it to be not really clear. and you should have more game footage. if you plan on doing a lot, you should invest in some sound equipment

Might be because I talk at a rate like I'm from pittsburg, but I thought it was nice and clear.
and dont stop making videos if you get bad feedback these things take practice Do more than just discuss the game too. give honest opinions, or if it isn't out yet, give your viewers the latest news and official media sneak peaks and what not.
You know what the REAL problem with Mists of Pandaria is? It's $40 fucking dollars. On top of your $15 every month you've been paying, and on top of the game itself when it came out, and the previous 2 or 3 expansions that also cost $40 when they were new GoodGod, we're talking, if you kept up with WoW all this time and bought the stuff when it came out, About $1600. We're talking nearly 8 Billion in revenue (Give or take, they didn't have these subscription numbers all the time) and they still want to charge $40 for a bit of new content?

That's not bad.

It's just the gratuitous unnecessary nickel and diming that pisses me off. I don't know, Maybe it's just me, but I think charging money for an expansion pack when you already charge a monthly fee to play is ridiculous

Why are you reviewing a game that's still in development, and is subject to change?
Hint: I don't watch reviews where the person is speaking to the camera. I'm not sure about other people but I much prefer watching reviews that consist entirely of gameplay with the narration over the top, then you can show what you're talking about on screen. I understand it isn't out yet, but you probably shouldn't be 'reviewing' it then.
why can't you say a full sentence without jump cutting?
[SUB][/SUB]
Oops
Like the others are saying, discussion or thoughts might be a better title for this sort of video. Overall though, I thought it was good, if a little bit rough. You have personality, and you are easy to listen to and understand. One thing I would like to see more of is some depth of content. The video itself is nice and simply presented but it feels like there could be more to it. You seem speak somewhat quickly and the video is over in a flash, leaving the viewer with a nice overview, but wanting more. Just like with the skyward sword video though, I think this is a great start and I enjoyed watching it. I'm sure as you post more videos, your general presentation will begin to normalize and become more fluid, but for now, this is excellent. I would love to see these weekly, and I think it is great that you are putting videos up. Don't ever be afraid to post if you think you are going to get negative feedback. [SUB]And, of course, I would invest in a new microphone if you can afford it![/SUB]
hot
You should really invest in a better mic , I think you are using your camera's mic.I got a 5$ headset and the mic quality is better than your camera's.
I would recommend not calling this a review as it isn't. More like a... "thoughts on"? Not sure. Yet seen as how the game is not out yet and you have not played it, it is not a review.
90% of the time videos with a talking head are bad this one was I suggest you change that with gameplay or videos or images or something, and to find images that can fit the entire frame rather than some upright poster, or put some background image if you need to use an odd sized image Watch some videos from someone like Campster to understand what I'm talking about with the editing direction, and how people like him provide factual reviews and a personal opinion (this last thing being what you want since it's what separates you from the millions of other reviewers)
Nearie your review is gey mew
