"slavery was cool and black people are ruining education" - Jon Hubbard
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Arkansas Republicans tried to distance themselves Saturday from a Republican state representative's assertion that slavery was a "blessing in disguise" and a Republican state House candidate who advocates deporting all Muslims. The claims were made in books written, respectively, by Rep. Jon Hubbard of Jonesboro and House candidate Charlie Fuqua of Batesville. Those books received attention on Internet news sites Friday.
On Saturday, state GOP Chairman Doyle Webb called the books "highly offensive." And U.S. Rep. Rick Crawford, a Republican who represents northeast Arkansas, called the writings "divisive and racially inflammatory."
Hubbard wrote in his 2009 self-published book, "Letters To The Editor: Confessions Of A Frustrated Conservative," that "the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise." He also wrote that African-Americans were better off than they would have been had they not been captured and shipped to the United States.
I feel sorry for all the level headed Arkansas residents that have to put up with both this guy AND Charlie Fuqua.
"The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the earth."
Oh, fuck YOU!
If nobody stopped this "blessing"- what then?
how do you guys let so many retards run your shit? I swear 80 percent of American politicians would be laughed out for even trying to become a politician in my country
I agree
:v:
I really dont know wether to find this funny or offensive.
i agree
What a shithead.

Oh god, this quote is painful to read. "Rewarded with citizenship" "Greatest Nation on earth".
It's stuff like this which doesn't make America the great nation on earth.
Holy shit what a warped view of world history.
"srs blacks, wen you think about it your actually p looky"
I love how Cenk Uygur tears the shit out of his statements
how high do you even have to be to do something like that

Europe and the UK think it's hilarious that Mitt Romney is even in contention to be president. It's another world.
They should be giving US reparations for the free work experience
Oh boy more news from the ass-backwards state of Arkansas.
Europe and the UK think it's hilarious that Mitt Romney is even in contention to be president. It's another world.
In Norway we'd probably treat him as an extremist along the lines of breivik if he ever tried to become prime minister.
Hey, Americans, can we send our "United Russia" your way? They won't be much worse than your Republicans already are, and we'll be glad to get rid of them. Positive all around.
FBI would probably label them as terrorists.

Do it.
Ok this is getting ridiculous.
America needs a complete clean up so these fuckheads don't get a say in important things.
"I think my views are fairly well-accepted by most people," Fuqua said before hanging up, saying he was busy knocking on voters' doors.
These people seem to have an impressive talent for deluding themselves.
What a mother hubbard.
I feel bad for the Republican party because either one or the other has to contain people like this, and it's now the Republicans that have to. It could just be the party of commerce, small government, austerity, and civil liberties but then it has to deal with christ warriors
I wouldn't say blacks are ruining education as a race, but I would say their music does.
[h=3][/h]'I wish I never met ya, I wouldn't wanna be ya. Pussy ass nigga, I don't want your gonorrhea. Pussy ass nigga, I don't want your gonorrhea.'

Solution: Blow up congress

Tom Clancy did it.
I feel ashamed of this country. We should just kick Arkansas out if they want to start another civil war so bad.
