Yup, I know someone who actually made whole short movie using pivot, about a guy who gets lost in a huge forest.

I'd say high beginner at best.
I just fucking laughed at people who go all like "meh, I can do something better, it's not that good", etc.
Every single fucking frame of these animations contain a fucking shitload of .STKs/Sprites, and they have to move them perfectly at every frame. And seeing of fluid it is, this is a fucking hard job.
If you just know a bit of pivot, you know this is absolutely hard work, and that they did a good job.
