Total Recall 2070 is a short-lived science fiction television series first broadcast in 1999 on the Canadian television channel CHCH-TV and later the same year on the American Showtime channel. It was later syndicated in the United States with some editing to remove scenes of nudity, violence and (in most cases) strong language. The series was inspired by the film Total Recall, based on Philip K. Dick's short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", and by Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, with a visual style heavily influenced by the film Blade Runner, itself very loosely based on the aforementioned novel. The series shares no major plot points with any of these works.
Has anyone here seen this show?
I just started watching it, and it's almost identical to Blade Runner in terms of style and story. There's still a mysterious company called "Rekall" that can give people false memories, but there are lots of plot lines about rogue bio-androids that are basically the same as the replicants in Blade Runner.
I don't know why they called it "Total Recall" because it has very little to do with that movie.
{spoiler}There are naked titties within the first 5 minutes of the first episode, so don't watch this with your parents.{/spoiler}

Sounds pretty similar in that sense actually.
That being said, it sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out some day.
Yeah... It has some of the same vague corporate stuff, but the feel of the show is much more like Blade Runner. Even down to them chasing androids and stuff.
The acting is really bad and it feels like a SyFy Channel show, but it's not bad. At least as interesting as Star Trek TNG.
