AND THEN EA HAPPENED.
[editline]3rd June 2012[/editline]
Footage of "Armored Kill" as it's being called now is on 0:38, if you don't want to waste your time with bullshit

This one works
Looks cool, but premium seems really crappy.
AC-130.
Welp.
Premium sounds like total bullshit.
AC-130?
Oh shit dis gon be good
AC-130.
Welp.
For all you know its might be a C-130 transport plane for crazy paradrop moments
AC-130.
Welp.
Holy shit. It would be like the bomber from 1942. Amazing.
Hold on, do premium get extra vehicles and weapons or are they just saying what's in the dlc packs?
I hope it's the latter because otherwise the game is dead to me.

You just buy all the DLC at the same time.
This is one time pay right?

Also I wonder what the aftermath/endgame expansion packs are all about.

Yep.
If this is a one time pay, I can honestly see myself buying this.
Found a fact sheet

Not too bad for a one time payment of $50
How is this late?
Wait, buying all the DLC's will add up to 60 dollars, so I'm guessing that this is a good deal? I'm actually considering on buying this.
I don't see how this is any different from a GOTY Edition, it's a one-off payment that gets you all the DLCs and some other shit. It seems pretty fair to me
Well, if it's one time pay, I don't really see what's wrong.
This actually might be worth it because all together aren't the packs like $75 or something?
I wonder if this is worth it if I already have B2K.
No AT4 or other wireguided RPG.
Sorry if that sounds petty, but I really would love to actually challenge pilots with the AT4 again.
Premium service done right imo.
C-130 oh hell yes.
expansions will come out, people will play armored kill and end game
they'll get bored, servers will become lower populated
then it will just be back to close quarters and 24/7 servers
happened with karkand
I haven't played bf3 for at least 3-4 months now, don't regret a thing. It's optimization is horrible, load times are still horrible, it's practically a CoD clone when it comes to infantry, not many people support each other, and when it comes to vehicles, no one wants to gun, or be the gunner in a helicopter. They want to pilot it because "i'm the bst plz lev 4 frind".
Premium users getting server queue priority and exclusive double XP weekends does seem a little unfair though
At first I was screaming "what the fuck is this shit", but after looking at the fact sheet and stuff I guess this is pretty fair, I thought it would be implemented like COD elite and be a subscription.
Can't say I don't want this, it's just that I'd rather spend that $50 on Max Payne 3 or something. And is that tiger stripe camo I see?
Just what the hell are Endgame and Aftermath?
Not sure if I'll get this or not. It seems like a decent deal but I don't know if I'll still be interested in BF3 when the map packs come out. I'll probably be too preoccupied with Planetside 2 and Mechwarrior Online to make premium worth it.
