A San Diego earthquake was felt by many San Diegans today. Was the loud noise many heard and felt really a San Diego earthquake? It seems according to the U.S. Geological survey, the noise at 4 this afternoon was really a sonic boom and not a San Diego earthquake.
San Diego 10News.com reports USGS seismologist Robert Dollar told them sonic booms are caused by high speed aircraft. It is possible the alleged San Diego earthquake was noise bouncing off the atmosphere. The sonic boom noise traveled around the county, making everyone think there was a San Diego earthquake.
SignOn SanDiego also reports on the San Diego earthquake. Maurice Luque, spokesperson for the San Diego Fire Department, indicated there was no San Diego earthquake and no massive explosion. Military official say there were no exercises in the area at the time.
Shit man what the fuck could be flying through the skies so fast that it creates a sonic boom that shakes homes and wasn't military? I felt this (Well, I HEARD it my brother in the living room felt it) and it wasn't exactly small. I've sat through normal quick earthquakes and never felt a thing and this caught my attention real quick.
Aliens! :tinfoil:
Well first that spiral thing in Norway and now this. D:
and the UFO in russia
ICBM test? Something flying out of Edwards AFB?
and the UFO in russia
I say that was a fake. Shit looked obviously CGI and you'd think with something that big floating around people would be freaking out.

Like the news said, military denies anything unless it's some new secret weapon.
Why the fuck do they keep saying 'San Diego earthquake' in that article? Does an earthquake in San Diego differ from a regular earthquake?
After they've said it once we fucking know its location! We don't need to be told it repeatedly!
I used to live there. I'm going to message my friends and cousins who are there and ask them wtf happened.

I wouldn't be freaked out about a UFO, I was be in awe. And I doubt most people would be scared either.
That's weird because I heard a loud explosion outside my house last night, but I live in Washington. Must have been a gas pipe blowing up or something.

Turn off the Game Boy and go play Team Fortress 2 or something. :v:
I live near San Diego and it was pretty loud. It lasted a few seconds and could hear things shaking and rattling, but I couldn't feel it that much. I thought it was an earthquake at first but when I checked there were no reported earthquakes in the area.
If it was a sonic boom something either was going really fast or something large from space broke the earths sound barrier. It didn't feel like a spaceshuttle re-entering sonic boom this was strange.
I live in San Diego FYI.
Space shuttle duh
Wow that must have been pretty impressive... what a blast :P

Someone's a sour puss, pussy. Who cares?
So what if they mention it's name?
Are you in a bad mood?
Besides, it was an earthquake in San Diego.
