The US dollar came under pressure on Wednesday after Donald Trump said the greenback was “getting too strong“.
The president’s comments to the Wall Street Journal immediately put the currency under pressure. The buck was down by 0.37 per cent against the yen to Y109.20 at pixel time, having traded flat ahead of the story.

This is basically a rewrite of the same story.
But the article is only like a paragraph long, so tldr: Trump said dollar is "getting too strong", its market values immediately weakened.

Jesus christ, the front page cut the title off to "Donald Trump Declare..." and I genuinely thought we were about to go to war with Syria or something.
Why the hell would you ever say that your own currency is too strong? That's like walking up to a bunch of street thugs and going "you know I haven't had my ass kicked in a long time".
