I love how random of an appearance it is for Reactor to come out from the shadows for this.
GradeAunderA's worst nemesis is now a semi-serious politcal satirist. :v:
Who? Of what fame?

I love how I can tell just by the title when Tudd is posting.
Tudd-posting is so predictable.

Reactor noooooo
[editline]22nd January 2018[/editline]
fucks sake man is there not a channel on youtube that can stay remotely un-political these days
All caps sensationalized title, clickbait impact thumbnail, host who's a known liar yet fancies himself a journalist, people who twist facts while pretending to be rational, claims of being 'centrists' (lmao), that's an alt-right propaganda video alright. Utter shit, par for the course.
Not sure why we keep seeing OPs who comment on some irrelevant aspect of the video while pretending to talk about something interesting or 'funny' in an attempt to normalize the actual content. Unless this is pandering to 12 years-old, nobody falls for it and it just comes off as pathetic.
Legit wondering, is there anybody on this forum who watches these unironically?

I feel there's some kind of pattern there, but I can't quite put my finger on it
I hate guys like this, their whole shtick is "hurrdurr look at these dumb reactionaries getting upset over things that seem to affect them! Haha aren't they dumb, look at me being 'rational' and 'logical' aren't I cool..."
its such a circle jerk
The true rational™ choice is to pay me a dollar on patreon™ so that i can give you the truth™

Should atleast post the original video so people can determine things with full context and Pool’s response to the police dispute.

No, because if you would actually bother to read the article, it includes that. The original title from the URL: police-told-me-to-leave-rinkeby-us-journalist-tim-pool, and the first (not updated) paragraph is:
"Several men started masking up and following us. Police told us to leave and had to escort us to our car," he wrote in a Twitter post on Wednesday.
Also, your video is 13 minutes long, and only about 2 of those minutes are relevant, where he talks about masked men following him and the police having talked to him basically going full tinfoil in front of a police van

All your non-critiques aside (Oh dear, the video is long?), it is just good for people to watch the actual video, and make a determination for themselves.
Now personally from what I see, it doesn't seem like the police would have had much reason to pull into the adjacent parking lot, and seemingly wait on Tim Pool & Gang until they left, unless they were somewhat concerned about them.
Either way, Tim Pool gave a fairly balanced conclusion on his experience of Sweden and didn't condemn it like the far-right does.

Or they could, you know, do what anybody who tends to their information feeds sensibly does and base their facts on actual vetted news sources rather than trust the word of a youtuber with a stake in the matter.

You know that my other critique was about you not reading the article I posted, but ignore that why don't you.
And from what you see? You sure you're not just listening to the guy wearing metaphorical tinfoil?

Well it is a dispute the news is reporting on from the Swedish Police public relations officer who contradicts themselves with what happened (Who followed who) and uses loose phrases like "Our understanding".
On Wednesday afternoon Stockholm police told The Local that they were aware of the tweets but were unable to find any specific reports filed about it on their system. A press officer later said that Pool did not receive an escort.
"Our understanding is that he didn't receive an escort. However, he followed the police who left the place," Stockholm police press spokesperson Kjell Lindgren told The Local.
Problem is Tim Pool wasn't following the Police at any point. The Police were always directly behind Tim Pool. So it was either police following Tim Pool, or they just happened to take the same route to Tim Pool's car.
And probably the more accurate situation was the other quoted officer's statement.
"We had extra officers on the ground because of a poetry evening in Rinkeby with a lot of visitors. When Tim Pool took out a camera and started filming a group of young people they pulled their hoods up and covered their faces and shouted at him to stop filming. The officers then told Tim Pool that it was not wise to stay there in the middle of the square and keep filming," she said.
"Then the patrol was going to Rinkeby Academy and that's where Pool's team had parked their car so it was more out of coincidence that they followed each other there."
Which is that the police did advise them to leave, but the escort bit was a coincidence because the Ringkeby academy happened to be on the way, but either way the police apparently did still talk to and advise they leave over what could have been a confrontational situation.
So really it was probably a situation where Tim Pool took a coincidence as an escort, but there is still truth in that they were told to leave due to safety concerns for filming.
Now what is also interesting is the 50 masked men that were supposed to show up. The only thing I can find about it is stuff from 8 - 9 days before the video was uploaded.

So essentially this dude just up and put his camera up some random people's face against their will (potentially violating their right to publicity in the process), probably in an attempt to gaud them into committing violence he would then use on his videos (standard alt-right tactic). The people in question put up their hoods in an attempt to mask their face. The police then worked towards maintaining the peace by advising him to stop his bullshit and leave. On the way back to their car their path coincided with that of the police.
This guy then claims he was followed by ominous masked men and had to be escorted by the police. All of which is unequivocally false based on the information we can gather from this article.
So either this guy's a paranoid imbecile who somehow interpreted those young people who masked their face in response to his intrusive filming as a threat that followed him, and the police sharing the same path as him as an 'escort' despite no policeman ever telling him that's what their are, or he's a propagandist that twists facts beyond recognition to serve his own agenda.
In either case, why should we take anything this guy says as credible? What's the point of listening to this one-hour long podcast?
Because this is what I'm wondering. Nobody here seems to appreciate this content, or find it remotely interesting. It doesn't spark any worthwhile debate because there's nothing this clique brings up that's worthy of discussion. It's all glaringly biased, hidden under the pretense of 'rationalism' which is what the so-called 'skeptics' who preceded the alt-right movement were masquerading as.
The only person here who finds this video worth watching is you, because it validates your own beliefs. Which is why I'm wondering what you think the point of sharing it is?

You know they could be onto something if we weren't seeing what amounts to a bunch of second hand paranoia v-log. We don't see the cops talking to them, don't see them telling them to turn the camera off, etc. All you see is is a cop car pulling up to them, for all I know just wanting to ask them what they are filming, and then they walk away in a hurry and start telling second hand what the police told them.
This video is just really questionable. If it was an uncut view of the commentators hanging out and being coerced or told to leave then maybe there'd be something here, but this just amounted to "we're standing here." "there's immigrants and feminists" "oh we're leaving in a hurry now" and then he monologues, expressing what could simply be a fabricated sensationalized story because we didn't see any of it.
We don't see the cops, don't see these hooded immigrant mobs, etc. Really not much to go on.
