damn it man i already know i get it everybody keeps reminding me i'm a stupid ni-
Kudos to him for being so self aware and honest with himself. He doesn't take himself too serious.
I like the new Pewdiepie although I'm not subscribed to him.
i never understood the hate for this guy, he's as genuine, kind and humble as popular youtubers get, he's donated millions to various charities during his career and unlike others in his business he isnt shady as fuck.
sure you might not like his content, but you cant deny that he's an amazing person

all of the hate was directed at his content and fanbase. just like with any big youtuber, I dont think anyone hated him as a person, only his youtube persona and awful fans.

i dont think its fair to label 45 million people as awful though, he just doesn't cater to our interests which is fair enough. I dont really enjoy his content much either, but obviously he's doing something right since he's gathered such a huge following

I don't know a single person that ever hated 'him'
Everyone i know hated this youtube channel/his content/his yt personality
He has always been a cool guy, but his old content is insufferable. That's why many people hated that.

of course it might not be fair to label all of them but a large majority of his fanbase consists of a younger audience. I havent met a single person over 16 who likes pewdiepie. and ive met a lot of people. you can make a huge following doing basically anything and people will be attracted to it if you're a charming personality that caters to the audience, and from the flailing, screaming, slurs, and cheap jumpscare videos that he always used to put up, you can tell what his main audience was.
I'm a fan of his videos, but he seems like a shitty guy

I know a couple, though that was way back when he was starting out and didn't paint himself out to be the nicest of dudes.
I'm a fan of his videos, but he seems like a shitty guy
How so?
Also he suits those glasses imo
I think his videos are pretty funny and he seems like a alright guy but I can't stand watching his content because honestly I'm pretty envious. He's a lucky guy.

back when he started getting big no one really knew the person behind the persona and like he states in this video, his videos were cringy unfunny loud shit and people only really had the videos to deduce what kind of person he was
i actually subbed to him lately because i like his self-aware videos and his style
its just enough to remind me of the lethality that is filthy frank, but distinct enough for it to be his own. hopefully he doesn't go overboard with it.
For me, its the screaming and the fans really...
laughed pretty hard at the kid that punched his friend over pewdiepie then wondered why people hate him
how can you be that unaware
Those glasses actually suit him.
I don't hate him or love him really. Just never really much cared to get into the debate and don't really watch his stuff unless it plays on autoplay for some reason.
I could never get past his intro or w/e of the screaming of his name, that's what always turned me off from him.
MAINSTREAM ANIME ALERT
also damn that was a really handsome photo
I find him pretty cringey.

It's actually funny you ask this question, not that there's anything wrong with it, but he actually answers it in the video :v:
[editline]aa[/editline]
Also, since when (and why) did he flip over to Flithy Frank lite?
I don't mind him so much nowadays. He seems like an alright dude.
He seems like an alright dude.
He has pretty much always been an alright dude. Probably one of the best dudes on Youtube. It was always his content that was a bit of a problem.
He seems to be improving though

I put it down to him purely making content catered towards his largest audience which obviously were kids with immature senses of humor.
So now he seems to be doing content he himself actually wants to see and enjoys.

Not sure when he started doing it, but I imagine it's just because he finds it more fun to do.

It's an incredibly great business strategy.
I used to hate him directly, he was bad at games (often edited out puzzles) and sometimes got genuinely toxic playing challenging games.
He's alright nowadays, still just don't like his voice though.
