There are always degrees though. I remember the reports of 'farms' where people paid to come and have sex with the animals there, and the reporters discovered the animals had been physically restrained, beaten, drugged etc etc just to let the people have their way with them. I call THAT abuse... What this fellow did with his goat, not so much. You've got to see past the outright stigma of animal sex and look at the actual physical actions of the person involved. I say he didn't [I]abuse[/I] that animal, but clearly he broke the law. The sentence he was given seems overly harsh in light of that. That being said, it seems beastiality is on the rise in Kenya, so perhaps that's why they're laying down such strong sentences for anyone caught.
