I'm attempting to make firecrackers for the first time. I know how to do the baking/preparing part, but some recipes call for you to "bake" the weed at 230-250deg before actually making the crackers. Some people think this may ruin the weed but the boiling point of THC is around 392deg. I was wondering, does this step help with the high or does it lessen it?

There's no point in pre-cooking the weed itself, the THC will bond to the oils in the peanut butter regardless of whether it's been heated beforehand or not
And I don't really know of anything to suggest that pre-cooking it would help with the THC bonding. I wouldn't bother.
I could see it being of some use if the weed was pretty sticky or slightly damp.
I'd prebake it just so you can break it up really fine.
Skipped the preheat the weed step.
Hopefully these turn out, used the family medicine on 'em.

I was thinking about making firecrackers, I have about a gram of vaped weed.
Pre-heat oven at 325°f.
Well, grind around .5g of weed as fine as you can get it, the stronger the better of course.
Spread a bit of nutella on 2 decent sized crackers. (I used Ritz cinnamon crackers)
Sprinkle the weed in the center of the nutella, you can pile it slightly.
Squash the weed between the two crackers.
Rap it tight in tin foil and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Should be good to go after cooled.
I need specifics, I've done exactly that. And had it not work, do you have to wrap them in tinfoil in any specific way?
How can you not get it to work? They require zero skill to make.
You obviously weren't using enough weed or the right kind of oily stuff, or you didn't bake them for long enough.
There's really nothing else to it.

Also don't leave them to cool for too long, just until they're warm enough to eat.
It's easier for THC to bind if it has a higher internal energy.
Firecrackers sounds delicious.

not really. They taste rather foul. Unless you just love eating pb and weed crackers. But it's definitely worth a try.
