What concerts you've been to feature bands that didn't just have good sound with their studio work, but their actual live performance? So far, I found that Seether and AC/DC sound brilliantly close to their recordings when playing live. Yours?
Dragonforce :downs:
Lamb of God.
Winston McCall [editline]10:56PM[/editline] Robert Plant
Ronnie James Dio [editline]11:20PM[/editline] Geddy Lee
Randy Blythe of Lamb of God. Bruce Dickenson of Iron Maiden. Those are the two that stick out to me the most.
sound brilliantly close to their recordings when playing live.
Sometimes it is a bad thing, i like live performances that are performed similarly to the original but with a different take or style, as if they know the song so well that they are confident enough to use it however they want. Accuracy aint what i really need to see, i want some soul in performance :v:
Muse sounds almost exactly like their recordings live, but they make it much better. 30 seconds to Mars puts on a great show too
Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, and the Backstreet Boys.
Marco Hietala from Tarot is phenomenal Michael Akerfeldt as well
Jack Black
Mikael Akerfeldt Bruce Dickinson Tobias Sammet Chris Clancy Timo Kotipelto Ralf Scheepers James LaBrie Rob Flynn And of goddamn fucking course, Ronnie James Dio. This list was in no particular order, and I can personally attest to all of them except Dio.
David Gilmour. Most definitely not Waters thought. Also, Avenged Sevenfold's singer has gotten good at doing live shows.
Ronnie James Dio
there's nothing "live" about him anymore
there's nothing "live" about him anymore
You think you're funny but you're not.
there's nothing "live" about him anymore
It's okay bro I rated you a smiley :)
Phil Anselmo Matt Heafy Bruce Dickinson Andi Deris Rob Halford
You think you're funny but you're not.
It's why he's on my ignore list. Well deserved place, he earned it.
I get a tough need of flaming on you guys, but meh. Erics. The Clapton one and Burdon one.
Just so everybody knows this, Å is pronounced kind of like the A in all
Johnette Napolitino from Concrete Blonde
Aaron Gillespie, formerly of Underoath.
John Mayer Proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_M5cNcRcMk < brilliant guitar player to...
30 seconds to Mars puts on a great show too
When Jared isn't busy telling everyone to be more excited, yeah.
there's nothing "live" about him anymore
too soon :(
It's why he's on my ignore list. Well deserved place, he earned it.
:( [editline]01:43PM[/editline] because everybody should worship dio
You think you're funny but you're not.
i found it pretty funny and i'm sure others did too. cry about it
You think you're funny but you're not.
i thought it was hilarious
When Jared isn't busy telling everyone to be more excited, yeah.
Yeah, but even then I thought it was fun. I was at KFMA Day this year in Tucson, Arizona. I was almost about 30 feet to the stage in the standin up party area, and I was smoking a blunt with these college kids I met, all of a sudden Jared gets shit crazy and we get split up, and I had the blunt. Tried to get back to them, but I didn't see them until after the thing, and I gave them some of my weed and some money to make up for it. Anyways, by time they were done, I went through 4 seperate mini mosh pits to get to the stage. Almost got up for Kings and Queens, but I was a couple feet away from the stage hitting on some girls I met up there and we all managed to get right onto the barrier for Muse. Normally security pulled people down that got up on the barrier because it was supposed to be only for people who needed to get out, but I guess the guy didn't notice us because we were sitting right on the barrier close enough to kick the stage. Shit was SO cash
