Now the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster has offered the animal a new home in its specially created habitat for polar bears.[/quote]

"thers no place like home. thers no place like home... "
Why was the polar bear in a shopping center to begin with? What the fuck is wrong with our species. Shit like this is why I support Big Cat Rescue and Lions, Tigers and Bears Rescue.
Oh wow, Doncaster is one town over from me. I never expected this.

What the fuck were they thinking of putting that animal in there
Poor fucking bear. I hope he gets spoiled at his new home.
sheesh, doncaster. id stay in china.
Yorkshire wild life park is a good day out. They've already got polar bears, nice to see another one.
If I lived locally I'd buy a season ticket.
Why is it always china shitting on animal rights everytime something like this makes the news.
If he does get moved, I hope he can adapt to the new environment without lashing out. It would suck if he got to the new place and he started attacking the other bears.
Then again, I'm sure they know what they're doing. They would know more than this place, at least.
I hope the zoo in China actually gives up the bear. Unless I missed something they haven't accepted the offer.

I'm planning on moving to Sheffield soon, definitely going to pay him a friendly visit if I ever make it there :pudge:

little regulation plus the fact that polar bears attract sales
"Did no one think if we gave the ape a tire swing he wouldn't miss the jungle?"

they won't because that would entail them giving up a very popular shopping attraction and admitting that they were wrong in the first place
His room look so shitty
I live in Doncaster. Never been to that wildlife park but I hear it's nice. May actually go look when/if this thing arrives.

Tourism and Money. Shit like this is actually fairly common. There is a pet shop in Monterrey Mexico called "La Jungla de Timo" that also houses exotic animals in poor conditions for people to see. The last time I went (first and will be the last) they had a scrawny lion as their main exhibit. That was one sad looking cat.
Ewww, yorkshire
I hope they let him go, it really is the least they could do especially if they know mistakes were made as the article claims.
I really hope there's a happy followup to this offer.
God I hope he gets a good home. Seeing him whimper like that breaks my heart.
