Of course, everyone who has Schizophrenia experiences it in their own way. There's even some people who enjoy it.
Oh god, the weather! It's out to get us!
Enlightening.
These voice sounds sampled.
Is it seriously like that all the time if they don't take their medication? When they take their medication does it calm it down completely or do they simply hear it less? Also, that would get pretty damn annoying.
Wow, that must be really fucking annoying "Don't drink that coffee." *random fucking teleport*

Also, that would get pretty damn annoying.
I believe Schizophrenia is episodic, meaning sufferers usually have "episodes" that can last anywhere from a few hours to several weeks, but in some cases it can be non-stop. People react differently to medication, for some it stops the voices completely, for others it just becomes muffled or they hear it less often. The medication can also have weird side effects, like uncontrollable weight gain and feelings of apathy. On an unrelated note, the WYSIWYG post editor keeps destroying media tags when I try to edit the post.
My grandfather has Paranoid Schizophrenia (so I was told). One time before I was born he forgot to take his meds one day and decided that the germans were coming and screamed at the top of his lungs in the street. He seems perfectly normal to me but he does take meds after all.
I wish Steven Blum lived in my mind.
Holy shit, at the beginning i swore i smelled toothpaste. I was like :wtc:
make a list- MAKE A LONGER LIST!
What if it was all a hallucination and he was really still in the bathroom holding his toothbrush? :tinfoil:
That's exactly what I have. Exactly. Like, that voice, where it's like you're talking to yourself, I have that. Not all the time, it comes and goes. But holy shit. I mean I'm not that bad, I don't think the weather is after me. But I get that insulting voice thing.
lol call a doctor Don't call a doctor they'll hate you FAGGOT do it
lol call a doctor Don't call a doctor they'll hate you FAGGOT do it
Yeah. That's about it, actually. Not the faggot bit though. Too crude a word. Though, filth, wretch, scum, those work.
This just in, Schizophrenics can teleport into alternate dimensions and hear the thoughts of it's inhabitants.
Poison....poison, poison, poison.... poison... he knows! poison....................poison
Oh for a second I thought this was a recording of my everyday. What you guys dont have multiple narrators in your head describing your everyday life?
can't wait for "This is what it's like to be a pornstar"
I wish Steven Blum lived in my mind.
I knew I recognized that voice.
That was fucking strange
Why does that house looks like its from the 40s?
I think this video is so funny to us is because we don't understand. It seems like if a voice says that it's all their fault, then they believe it, whereas we don't.
my breathing started to sync with his, it was pretty weird
The male voice sounded slightly like the male hl2 npcs.
I think this video is so funny to us is because we don't understand. It seems like if a voice says that it's all their fault, then they believe it, whereas we don't.
Yeah. I mean, it seems silly because that's what it is. You get really caught up in your head, and you start thinking about everything you're doing, and there's this voice that just repeatedly tells you that you're a useless wretch. It's not even a literal voice per say, it's almost just a thought. And what caught me off guard is that the "voice" tells me exactly the same things as in the video. You know, "You're useless", "You're ungrateful", "They know what you're thinking", "I hate you(that's the worst)". You get paranoid, and you feel like everyone is plotting against you, and you find the smallest excuses to berate yourself and be suspicious of others. You feel like your skin is tightening around your body and you begin to hate yourself so much you almost want to tear your own face off and not bear another second looking at it. Not that I'm at all crazy enough to ever do such a thing. I deal with that sort of thing by drawing fucked up shit. But you can't really understand this unless you experience it yourself.
I deal with that sort of thing by drawing fucked up shit.
Hey that reminds me A schizophrenic artist's rendition of a cat over time, as his condition worsened.

I'm more of a circular eyes kind of guy myself. And I'm not one for saturated colors. But all in all what I draw seems remarkably similar. I'll post something I drew when I was really fucking wacked out tomorrow. I have a couple of them, one when I was uncontrollably angry, another when I was depressed/paranoid. I never quite like the way those things turn out, probably because I'm usually jamming my pencil into the paper and can't get a smooth line.
The male voice sounded slightly like the male hl2 npcs.
Don't drink the water, they put something in it. To make you forget.
Why is there a womans voice and dudes voice?
