Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the third film in the Transformers film series, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. It is the sequel to Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and is scheduled for release on July 1, 2011 in Real D 3D.
Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and Ramón Rodríguez are set to reprise their starring roles, with Peter Cullen returning as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Hugo Weaving also returning the voice of Megatron. Ehren Kruger, who collaborated in the writing of the second film, was said to be again involved in the writing. Despite having initially been confirmed for the film,[1] and with the film already into principal photography, it was announced that Megan Fox would not be reprising her role from the previous two films. With Fox's character Mikaela being dropped, Sam was assigned a new love interest, who will be played by English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Also, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, having written the first two films, will not return for the third installment in the series,[2] which Orci had earlier somewhat anticipated, fearing the duo would "risk getting stale".[3] Bay has stated that this will be the last installment in the series.[4]
"The Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia."
I'll update as we get more information & update with less Wikipedia copypasta.
Another GREAT movie from Michael bay, I know what I'll be seeing!
the next batman film's name doesn't seem so bad anymore
the plot seems pretty interesting imo, and as usual the special effects look fantastic
the acting will probably be terrible still though
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

MICHELA BEY PLA PLOOOOOOOOOOM.
BOOOOO-is that unicron I see?
SWWWWWWWWEeeeeeet
I know what I'm not watching next summer! :D
Hopefully it'll be better than the 2nd movie. That was a complete disappointment.
Oh god if that guy is unicron I am going to murder Michael Bay.

So uh....what does the trailer have to do with anything at all..
It's a teaser
That was fast didn't they just finish filming like a month ago?
I don't know about you people but I enjoyed both and this one will be tight.
I just love his films for the displays and the fighting. The storyline is a nice topping, but it's all about the fighting for me.
I wonder which hot chick would be on it this time around.

Silly Transformers, the Nazis already own the Dark Side of the Moon, they'll be evicted.

Oh this times a thousand, Unicron should look like this:

If the robot in the trailer is Unicron, he's way too small and looks very weedy.
and by way too small, I mean that Unicron is the size of a fucking planet.
It's kinda cool that Unicron is featured, but I want a MASSIVE Unicron, like he should be.
I doubt it's unicron and if it is, the entire fucking moon would have to be him.
I liked both movies, but the first one is really better than the 2nd..
3rd one looks interesting, especially since it has to do with The MOOOOOOOOOON.

We are talking about Michael Bay, he made soundwave a fucking boombox, a god damn satellite. Anything is possible.

I didn't even enjoy the fighting in the second one. Everything looks like a big mechanical mess. The jittery camera work doesn't help me in trying to figure out what's going on. The movie gave me a huge headache.
Michael Bay better get a good voice actor for one of the best villain voices of all time:

Orson Welles's last, and probably one of his best roles.
Who the fuck watches Michael Bay movies expecting anything other than explosions, tits and robots fighting?

Enjoyed both, but the second one could have been way better than it was.
I really want this movie to be a little bit more serious, unlike the last ones....

I loved that scene
Cheesiest title ever. I have mild hopes for this but I am using mild lightly.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was dogshit.
Unicron crash-landed in the moon... motherfucker's 500 times the size of it. Then again, these films aren't going by any of the shows, so technically Bay can get away with it (hence both Optimus and Megatron dying and coming back to life, the matrix of leadership being some yin-yang gizmo that can be obtained by a human, and the human disguises).
Looks like another Special effects extravaganza with the name Transformers plastered on the front of it. Still, I'll definitely be seeing this.
