I am looking for a good book with guitar rythms. I am really jealous of a friend who has a book with reggae, rock, blues rythm.I want one too. That book was awesome with the chords and all the shit no theory at all which was awesome. I have seen some books but they are all theory.
Ask your friend what book he has? :v:

Been years and lost touch since then :\
Honestly there's no point in buying a book when you can just research on your own, man. Look up your favorite jazz/blues/rock songs, study the chords they use. Alot simpler and alot more rewarding, as most books will give you the wrong signal that you have to stay within some sort of boundary. Plus, it's practically free information just to look it up.
As far as the actual rhythm and tempo, that can't really be easily accomplished by a book. You just have to go by ear and feel the flow of it.
use your ears, not your eyes man
I remember when I got into rhythms. I agree with Water-Marine and thisispain, you should definitely just use your ears and look for info on the net. Try not to keep yourself in some sort of box.
I'd definitely look into jazz and even more complex rhythms.
Scatterbrain got me started:

You can also look for tabs on some meshuggah stuff, really helped me with my rhytm. Go in to prog rock/metal and jazz directions. There are lots of fun rhythms to be discovered in those genres.
Rush have great rhythms

Everyone knows the best way to learn rhythm is to do funk, funk is perfect for rhythm
