Anyone ever think that the people who make cat food make it addictive to our cats so they'll eat more and we'll buy more? The cat food my cats eat is called 'Special Kitty'. I kinda wanna search if they do it. Will other facepunchers join me? Epic thought: The government allows the corporations to do this because if we have pets during a crisis; there is always something to eat... And to relieve stress of course.
No.

Like what? If something was in the food it would be harming the cats, and if you stopped giving it to them they would likely go through withdrawal of some sort. Besides, if there was something addictive in the food you could bet every animal activist group would be up in arms.
Catnip, bro. There's your ingredient. Crack for cats, always wanting more.
My cat eats Finicky Cat :frogc00l:
The only thing that can get addicted to cat food are Prawns.
What has OP been smoking?
Cat food is probably just some grinded up dead animals and protein. Same as dogs food I suppose.
There is small metallic pieces in them. In that specific metal lies an electronic circuit which will be activated in 2012. Once activated, cats will go berserk.
