Red Dead Redemption's Soundtrack Released On Vinyl Record
Ask anyone who played it; the music in Red Dead Redemption added just as much atmosphere to the Rockstar’s western world as any other element in the game. Who could forget the first time you make your ride down to Mexico as the haunting Jose Gonzalez tune, “Far Away”, plays in the background? That’s certainly a gaming moment that will stick with me. Now, fans of the game can pick up its awesome soundtrack on vinyl.
The red double-vinyl set is available from the Rockstar Warehouse for 15 bucks, which nets them all that the game has to offer musically, from “Far Away” to the game’s fantastic score, composed by Bill Elm and Woody Jackson. Additionally, the vinyl features an exclusive track, “Old Friends, New Problems”.
However, should vinyl not be your particular scene, you can still snag the soundtrack on CD or in digital form via iTunes, Amazon, and eMusic. Think you might be of the mind to pick up this great score on vinyl?

Oh wow, might actually be pretty cool, but I doubt it will sell...
I dunno man, I heard that Vinyl is coming back...
Well that's new. Or old depending how you look at it.
Is there any particular reason as to why it's translucent?
I will buy this.
That's so hipster.
What is the point...?
Now if only I had a record player
The color reminds me of Against Me!'s Reinventing Axl Rose vinyl.
Perfect for my vinyl player.
Wow An album is released on Vinyl...!
Vinyl has been revived for a few years so whats the surprise here?

Better depth of sound.
My dad keeps hoping vinyl comes back in style.
Every time he sees a player or a album he remarks "Oh I guess it's coming back in style, Good thing I kept my vinyl player!"
It is a pretty good soundtrack. I am glad they gave it away as a free download when it came out, would be cool to play it on a record player.
I'm curious to what the new track sounds like.

That's like saying feeling nostalgic or liking old things is hipster.
Wow way to fuck it up and make vinyls appeal as "XD I ADD THIS TO GAMIN COLLECTION"
That is fucking ugly album art too, only a faggot would buy this.

So the music itself has no impact on your decision on whether or not to purchase it? Goddamn you are an idiot.
calling something or someone hipster is the conversational equivalent of spitting up in your own mouth. it means nothing

So, if i'm a homosexual, I'm the only one who would buy it out of all sexualitys?
Do you happen to be 13?

First of all the main appeals of vinyl is the sound quality and the large album art. Most people buying this won't have a hi-fi system to make it sound good and the album art is terrible.

No it's not but resurrecting old things that are not better than new ones is.
Eww, why is it transparent? Shoulda been black too.
"hipster" basically means whatever the hell the speaker wants it to mean. An accusation of "hipsterism" cannot be defended against because the definition of the term is fluid and transient

Analog is better than FLAC or 320kbs MP3's you are wrong.
the differences between flac and analog are undetectable to the human ear. anyone who claims to hear a difference is fooling themselves
Better depth of sound.
There's not better depth of sound if it was recorded digitally, which it was.

This wasn't solely made for "most people" - it was made for collectors..
