Computers on the top of the list so all good :D
I think you will find all of those are good, it just depends where you go/what you do with them.
Problem is your basing it all on salary, sure a big salary is great but some people who do the "Shit tier" like Drama, Sociology, Theatre, Linguistics have great jobs. You do what you want to do, fuck the salary, if its enough to get by i'd rather do a job i loved than one i hated. Also, Politics and Philosophy in the Shit tier? Ever heard of PPE Majors from Oxford or Cambridge?
Every degree is useful in a way, as they all show that you can commit to something and see it through to the end, and they all improve general employment prospects (if you're not doing something specialised like medicine, law, or engineering/science.)
Art in shit tier. You must be a massive faggot. edit: Seriously what the fuck.
Seriously though I wanna be a fuckin' robotics expert or something, that'd be tight shit
SHIT TIER

Languages/Linguistics
Because interpreters aren't needed right? OP isn't very bright.
I am gonna major in History, mister. Being a teacher is awesome.
The other thing is, drama may not normally be useful, but if you want to be an actor, then it is.

way to copy content straight from 4chan
Psychology is in extremely high demand, mister, and they make a shitload of money. Militaries all over the world are looking desperately for psychologists, as many soldiers commit suicide from depression/insanity. It really depends on what you do with your degree. Getting a psychology degree to be a school counselor or something like that won't get you far.
Shit tier Shittier I can't have been the only one to notice that?
Economics is in the top tier. :smug:
I don't think it's accurate because its opinion based and some couldn't be possible without the other.
I might also rank art in the shit tier but then you are basing it on money so you contradicted yourself cause most good paintings sell for millions.
I'm all for encouraging scientific careers and progress, but dismissing most forms of culture is just plain retarded. Shit-tier music student here, have fun number crunching while I make awesome noise. :sax:
I might also rank art in the shit tier but then you are basing it on money so you contradicted yourself cause most good paintings sell for millions.
An art degree won't teach you how to create masterpieces that will sell for millions.
It does help if you want a higher chance of getting the millions though.
Low Tier: Archeology, Zoology, Nursing, Agriculture, Teaching, Paleontology
Fuck you. Also, you might wanna spellcheck your shit before putting languages in the shit tier. It's Archaeology, not Archeology.
right. thank you for sharing. i read it twice and i'm still amazed
ITT: Apparently, teaching, English, literature, history, and language are useless!
I might also rank art in the shit tier but then you are basing it on money so you contradicted yourself cause most good paintings sell for millions.
Most paintings are not good paintings.
So basically you're saying all creative degrees are shit? As a full time animation student at art school I can safely say you're full of shit. The world would be a depressing fucking place if it didn't have art. Art includes music, literature and film... not only painting and sculptures. Pointless thread.
As long as I can survive and do what I like, I'm happy.
enjoy being a grey mouse and hanging yourself at the age of 30 op
and this just reminds me why i love my major
Zoology and Biology can go hand in hand. Just look at Richard Dawkins.
Art in shit tier. You must be a massive faggot. edit: Seriously what the fuck.
Art degrees are absolutely useless. Nobody who buys art at a gallery will ask to see the artist's degree before they purchase a piece. Additionally, if you're referring to digital artists who work on collaborative projects like websites, animated films, or stock art galleries, a degree will usually make a job much harder to find. The employer will look at the applicant's portfolio to determine if they get the job. A degree just means that the artist will immediately expect higher wages. Instead of wasting money on a degree, contact a well-known artist and offer them money to train under them. Not only will you get actual experience but you will learn the business aspect of it and all the little things they don't teach in college. You may meet people that will make life as an artist much more profitable. Also, if an employer is a fan of the artist you trained under, you have a very good chance of being hired.
