that's how i see both sides of this.
like, remember that post i've made like 5 times in the last month? the one where i say how some people are [I]technically[/I] correct, but the way they articulate their opinion is just terrible. that applies to both the 4chan guys who laugh at tumblr people, and the tumblr people who try to spread information in a really flaky and incorrect way
good thing that the extremes of both sides, be it the amazing atheist or some tumblr person, are so small that they probably won't have a lasting effect on "REAL" equal rights outside of the internet.
also side-ish note, i'm a huge perpetrator of this, but i've been noticing that a lot of the arguments on the internet have been over dumb semantics. it's hard to notice that when you're in the middle of an argument, but if you take an outside look it's just.. wow. like, i skimmed through pages of some assassin's creed gender-related stuff and one guy was saying his thing, and for an entire page it was just him saying "this is what i meant" and then the other people going "no, the word means ____ so you meant this" i even go back into threads that i posted in months earlier and went "hah wow im fucking stupid."

yeah tbh i don't see how anyone couldn't be on her side.
her arguments are kinda flakey and not being whipped out that well (which is a given considering that there's like 8 dudes staring her down and she's being recorded), but those dudes are just yelling and shit and one of them pushed her.
she got arrested, yeah, kind of happens when somebody calls the cops and has a ton of people on their side, but 10 bucks says that she's going to get off with no charges and go on her way, or those guys'll get what's coming to them.

It seems like she did lash out on them physically before they pushed her. I wouldn't past one of those big guys to accidently push her too hard. Regardless, it seems that there isn't a whole lot of intelligence being exercised by either party. Each was belligerent, if not in deed, then in jest.

I have watched this video three times now and still can't actually find what arguments you are referring to. The first thing that could potentially lead in to an argument/position of belief is her asking if the men have experienced rape (which seems to be her lead on to 'then you have no right to argue x') yet she explicitly asks if they've had a dick shoved anywhere, as if that's the only kind of rape. Then she states that all men sexually harass women. That isn't a flaky argument, that's a completely idiotic and grossly false statement. She uses interrupting women as an example of sexual harassment, my distaste of that notion hopefully needs no explanation.
Now, in my opinion, the religious guys were being way too aggressive. Their display of force was unneeded as she wasn't even facing them at the time, and not using her hands or feet to touch their person. They threw her to the ground because she did exactly the same thing that somebody in front of you might to in a crowded line. They did call her out on her shit, but good lord did they lack any sort of restraint. I was less annoyed at her idiotic rambling than I was at the men, who really shouldn't be acting like a group of children especially when representing their religion. The woman wasn't doing anything wrong beyond rambling like a genuine idiot, so I don't understand why she was arrested. I am pretty sure the police didn't approach the men just because they were a bunch of shouting black guys.
I can't really see the woman being charged with anything.

On a side note, I really don't believe that facepunch has a hard time understanding that not all feminists are Tumblr SJW shitheads. Really, every single time I see the whole feminism subject brought up, people are acknowledging how there's a difference between actual feminists and equalist, and the shit we're seeing now. I can't seem to find it, but there was a video floating around a while back that was a series of interviews with foreign feminists. They kept discussing the concept of the "american feminist" and how there is a new breed of feminism which is more orientated towards female superiority and male inferiority. The vast majority of current feminist shitstorms are started by that negative category of feminism. For some reason, people would need to add to the end of their posts that they understand and acknowledge that these aren't the "good" feminists (who are in the majority) for you to understand that most posters aren't so ignorant of societal issues and feminism.
When somebody insults/bashes/criticizes these aforementioned tumblr-esque SJW shitheads, they shouldn't really need to then say "oh but they're not representative of actual feminists or equalists" because it's something that doesn't need to be stated. It's pretty obvious when somebody is an actual feminist/equalist.
