Back in March I went and auditioned for a band here in my hometown called The Electric Playground. They were making a name for themselves around the detroit area about two years ago until their guitarist left the band.
There are two EP's out, both recorded before I was in the band, but since joining, we've been getting the ball rolling again.
We usually play pretty small venues right now because we have to get out there and exposed all over again. However we have played some cool venues like the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor (playing there next week December 4th) and we just played at the Fillmore in Detroit opening up for Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Mitch Ryder, and Alto Reed.

We're about to start recording a new EP in December, so we're pretty excited about that.
