I'd say they were pretty justified in taking him down.
I hope some more info gets out. Since his friends had been in contact with the police about him not acting well, I wonder what triggered it

I sure hope there wont be any riots again. It's just the police doing their job and defending themselves from a dangerous assilant who has attacked before and even killed.

I don't think this guy will ever realize how lucky he is.
Looks to me like they did their best to try to avoid killing him. Looks like they aimed for the legs first. I'm perfectly fine with this, the cops acted well.

Police in Sweden are neither armed with tazers nor knowledge about people with psychological disturbances. It's very scary how easily this could have been avoided.

I dont know, the use of a Taser in this situation could be just as worse, say the taser induced a seizure and he kept on holding his knife and ended up stabbing himself a bunch of times, and this seizure continued, this would put the police and risk and surely end his life from him stabbing himself a bunch.
I also don't want to be near a crazy ass stabby man with a taser with no guarantee that it would incapacitate him, for all I know he is on some seriously strong drug like PCP.
