In other words, the pinnacle of spider[del]bro[/del]sis
The cinematography in these never ceases to amaze me, easily some of the best camera work of any programme ever.
I love the robotic sounds added in post. Imagine being the audio guy given a silent video of a spider and being told to make it sound like a machine. It has to be a fun job.
I want to know the origins of using some old, raspy-voiced dude for insect documentaries.
Imagine a world where spiders were the size of cars

I think its not always some old dude, but Sir David Attenborough is genuinely interested in such creatures and can therefor tell such things like in the video in a very uplifting, exciting and entertaining tone.
So it's like Spider-Girl in a Spider
Does that make it Girl-Spider?

Some times they have young dudes. But really, Attenborough makes it so much better tbh

My favourite one is still the dung beetle one :v:

Did you just call Sir David Attenborough "some old, raspy-voiced dude"?
He's been making/narrating documentaries for decades now, and it's pretty much expected that he narrate any BBC nature documentaries, plus it's like your cool grandpa telling you interesting stuff.

I'd want one.
Jumping Spiders can learn colors and remember them for an extended period of time. They're incredible little things!
The only type of spider I like. Cute and smart too.

They're the only spider I'll willingly handle. Everything else can burn.
Plus they're great pest controllers. Used to always relocate them in my garden if they got lost indoors.
I love the documentaries involving aquatic life, insects, arachnids, and reptiles. Mammals are so BORING compared to some of the crazy shit that we don't normally see.

I thought the robot sounds and gear-whirring sound effects were super cheesy. Would have been better without them imho

They'd just collapse and die under their own weight :(
