LIVE SOON: AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM WISCONSIN DEMOCRATIC PARTY http://www.newdogdemocrat.com/2011/11/enough-signatures-gathered-walker.html
First On The Scene: The word has spread that over 500,000 signatures have been gathered to recall Scott Walker! This means the movement is close to its first milestone. Now they must gather more signatures to pad its victory in case some are thrown out by the non partisan Government Accountability Board. The announcement is supposed to come Dec. 15 at noon. Some on the ground are expecting 1,000,000 signatures before the deadline in several weeks. After Governor Walker's assault on unions, his attack on democracy, and his blatant disregard for the will of the people, a a recall effort was all but assured to remove him and all his supporters from Wisconsin government. Hundreds of thousands have poured into the streets and many have occupied the capitol building. Thousands took part in the summer recall and the government was almost flipped. Now, after weeks of gathering signatures at a lightning pace, United Wisconsin is soon announcing that they have enough signatures to turn in and recall the governor, but will push for around 1,000,000. The Government Accountability Board must validate all signatures and the recall election will likely be held in the late spring. This is it, folks. One last push to right this horrible wrong. Congratulations Wisconsin! You are an inspiration to us all.
Not surprising.
Fuck yeah! Time to get that piece of shit out of office
Wrong. Its 504 thousand they need 540 thousand
This is fantastic.
Although over 500 thousand in 30 days, thats good.
For those who don't follow USA politics much, what has this man done?
God bless direct democracy
For those who don't follow USA politics much, what has this man done?
Destroy state worker unions for no reason Toss out a stimulis package for a new rail line (we now have to pay back millions instead of paying just upkeep) Our job rate is lower than the US (he keeps saying it is going up yet it isnt) those are the three off the top of my head. let me go look it up
For those who don't follow USA politics much, what has this man done?
He outlawed either unions, collective bargaining, or both. Can't remember exactly which, but the point is what he done was severely impair the worker's ability to negotiate for a fair wage.

[editline]15th December 2011[/editline] Just go here for the shit he has done http://wtfwalker.com/
I remember when everybody got their fists up their ass and all the teachers striked for really stupid reasons. I don't exactly remember, but he wanted the union workers to pay how much more for healthcare? Like 10% more? Big fucking deal. Everything is going up in price these days. What if my rent was locked at $100 a month yet it took $300 a month to pay for the property taxes, etc...Unions shouldn't be any different. They were having a bitch fest over nothing. It isn't just them that has to pay more for healthcare or take a pension cut. Try talking to the private sector sometime.

He did not listen and bitched and moaned saying they wont do it. He did it ONLY to bust the unions.
About time. Hoping for the best for Wisconsin
