28 days later: Jim awakes 4 weeks after the first infection in a hospital with no idea what has been going on. He then (with his following survivors) travels to a military base in manchester. Dom is in a small cottage with an old couple, a black man, and his wife. They get attacked and Dom escapes, leaving his wife. Dom then travels to london on a small boat. His sister and son meet with him in London. 2 days after his wife spontaneously appears, with a deadly secret that reignites the infection once again. First ones good. Second one is meh
I enjoyed both.
This is a terribly uninformative thread. I am disappointed in its content. :colbert:
First ones good. Second one is meh
That's what a change of directors will do. Apparently 28 Months Later is coming at some time, directed by Danny Boyle again.
I assume that one will be in france, going by the ending of 28 weeks later? Also, I've only seen 28 weeks later, but tbh it's likely the best zombie film I've seen.
I loved 28 weeks later, except for the part where he [sp] poped that womans eyes out [/sp]
I enjoyed both.
I liked 28 Days Later up until they go to the military base. I felt it got silly after that. 28 Weeks Later was good. I enjoyed the entire movie, however not as much as the first half of 28 Days Later.

if danny boyle had directed the second one i think it would have been great, it was just average.
First one was awesome, second one was rubbish
I liked 28 Days Later up until they go to the military base. I thought one of the most tense moments was when[sp]the soldiers are about to kill Jim and the other guy[/sp]yet it has nothing to do with the zombies.
Dom then travels to london on a small boat. His sister and son meet with him in London.
you mean his son and daughter.
I loved 28 weeks later, except for the part where he [sp] poped that womans eyes out [/sp]
Eugh don't remind me I always skip that part.
I loved both. First one was way better though.
Ehhh, I still think Resident Evil was a good zombie movie. 2, as well.
Resident Evil films were good, but not great.
I loved 28 weeks later, especially the part where he tries to escape the house and the music is so god damn suspenseful and dramatic, and it's awesome.
28 Days Later was DAMN SCARY when they're trying to get the Taxo out of the underground tunnel. :gonk:
First ones good. Second one is meh

you mean his son and daughter.
No, it's his sister.
Days was good because it was handled in a more believable way. (Giant landmine field aside) Weeks was about as subtle as Fahrenheit 911 "DERP DERP AMERICAN OPPRESSION"
I've only seen the first one, and I was extremely impressed with it. Was unique in that the infected arent the real villain/plot element. I want to see the sequel, but havent got around to it.

I love both these films even though I hold the first one in higher regard.
I like both movies, but they seemed to be missing a little something I can't put my finger on.
First one is excellent zombie flick in my opinion but I really didn't like Weeks.
28 Days Later was awesome. 28 Weeks Later sucked so much ass I could barely sit through it all.
I thought they were both pretty good. Obviously the first was more groundbreakingly original, but still they were both good. And it definitely made a difference with Danny Boyle not making Weeks
I stopped watching Weeks when it was revealed that the mother had survived.
